Thanks Joe, honestly I always just wing it. I just try to make sure that I have a good education on the subject at hand. Some times it takes 4 or 5 takes to get the right shot though. I feel like this video was slightly lacking, but I really couldn't go into too much detail because ever plow is likely wired slightly different.
show the wiring diagram for the 2 switches on the plow because i have a flashing red light on my controller "no communication error" which will not allow me to hook up my plow all fuses are good the only way i can hook my plow up is to run a ground wire to the terminal on the mount switch and everything is fine up, down, left, right
Hello, can you tell the brand and specific type of the connectors, usef on your plow, please. I have to fit a new vehicle harness for my Sno-Way 18DX, which has the plow and Joystick cables with the plugs on, but no sockets. It is a real drag to find out that the plug on the plow cable is a DEUTSCH HD30 one, but what is the proper socket and from which store can you get one at reasonable costs, to get an 20 year old plow again. The joystick plug (5 pol.) is still a mystery. So, I contemplate to cut off the " old" plugs and fit the cable to a later connector system, which you can buy with less effort. Thanks for any advice. im in process of building a toggle switch control for operating fisher homesteader .cant find good info at all.if your interested ,you would get a big search hit on your site by trying to build it and showing others how to.my plow came with nothing truck side,no modual,lite harness,nada.i did buy 3 pin repair harnesses,and power repair harness truck side.i think even guys with complete harness and modual would like to have toggle set up as temp back up for hand held controller failures.myself i only do my property and skipping lites.
