You do not need to justify changing your video format and schedule. This is a hobby, and life still goes on off-screen, and what's important is that you enjoy making the content that you are. I can definitely tell through the 2 most recent videos and this one, that your main objective is informative gameplay that focuses on the real-world problems in city planning, and seeing as that as a topic doesn't get dove into frequently with this game it's extremely refreshing. This series inspired me so much, to wanting to build a northern cal, sf styled city to even how I play the game and thinking of the backstory behind everything I build. like freeways and neighborhoods like you do. This is definitely a top 3 series all time for me. Maybe even 1. And hope everything with college And all that is going good man. As much as I’d love for you to start making episodes again, Ik it takes a lot of time so no pressure. you’ll still always have a loyal community and support!
I think an interesting (but sad) addition to the city would be a homeless camp somewhere. It could be an episode on the californian homeless crisis, affordable housing, etc

about your light rail comments, i really like seattles light rail because of how fast it can go (i went from westlake to the new northgate station in like 7 mins or so?) and how expansive it is, since east link to bellevue is supposed to be open 2023 but is going pretty fast and might open this year. floating light rail bridge babyyyy
If anything, make the effort to watch Oceania. Kynan is doing an absolutely amazing job there and it's probably the best series going on TH-cam for C:S. And the episodes are usually 20mins and not even weekly, so watching it is really manageable. I think the age thing you said in the first section only adds to your commitment and dedication to the cause of this channel. I could not possibly have imagined doing what you did during my high school years, so my kudos goes out to you. I hope life is still cool for you. I liked the last videos you've been uploading, but I have to say that I miss the old "normal" videos. Obviously this is yours and you do whatever you want.
Im 42. When I was your age I was making heavy detailed SC4 games while going to college/working. Your just on the natural evolution curve of becoming a adult. It sucks lol. Eventually bigger things take your attention and you wont miss it much. Good news at a later time....once u settle into things....significant other/marriage....job(career job)...mortgage...kids...somehow you start to find time to go back to your passions. But put everything else as a priority....afterall this is just pixels/free time entertainment. Of course if your monetizing to a degree it's important to keep it up....you'll figure it out..your a smart kid.
I love the build! Also, I love where your head is at, but I think your political frame of reference leans too heavily into identity politics. Just an observation, keep up the great content!

I noticed you have significant death waves! Why not build Colma "cemetery land" CA? That would be an interesting addition to the city.
I love this city. It's so realistic that it feels like the city should exist somewhere in Northern California or Oregon.
