    you drop that type of money converting this to a fastback, suspension work, custom interior stuff, and a factory crate motor....and you throw a Duralast REMANUFACTURED starter on it...AND alternator...wwooooowww...

    All that modification and you guys didn't add a third pedal and a wobbly stick coming out of the console.

    Bouncing off the rev limiter with a new engine and then almost crashing it. Buddy should think about that new career soon. Other than that, good job guys.

    So you take it for a test drive when its "finished", but yet the speedo and the tach needles don't register anything while you're driving along ????

    GT grill and foglights would have looked nicer ... did you even leave an original vin number on it when you were done? nice car.. i have been thinking of doing one of those ht fb conversions.. idk though resale is kinda hit or miss on them.

    Good work guys. It truly is a shame you didn't put a 6-speed Manual Trans in it. Also all the ad spots encouraging people to use Duralast parts is just not ok. Also if you are going to build a 67 fastback, do it some respect by putting in a 351 Cleveland in it, I just don't understand the young guys that think dropping in a new Coyote engine in it is acceptable. You guys are just making a new mustang out of the butchered frame of a 67. Do it right and you will double or triple the value of that Stang.
    But none the less, Good job guys and thanks for the video, It just would be nice if you guys would do a fully classic build with the original muscle in it. it's not about the HP, it's the history and accuracy that matters. There just isn't anything like the old school stangs.

      HuzzahGamers-Why would you want a Cleveland installed?Any Windsor would be a better fit if you wanted to go with a period correct engine,and although the 390FE was an option the 351Cleveland wasn't offered in 67.

    • @dn-re8po
      @dn-re8po 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think dropping a coyote in is perfectly acceptable. More reliability and more customization. And A 351 Cleveland or a Windsor would not double or triple your value. as resto mod with newer engines are going for a higher price right now but things can change as all things do in the car world. Cheers

    • @davidh1249
      @davidh1249 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      d n - I wholeheartedly agree,a quality restomod is worth as much as double or triple what a stock restored Mustang is worth and the new Coyote engine is probably the best all around engine for a high end build.That said,a fuel injected Windsor would be cheaper and easier to fit in the engine bay as it is physically smaller,but the Coyote is fast becoming the engine of choice because of its reliability and versatility.

    It's a kit car, why bother with wasting time hacking up a rust bucket and just build from the frame up....

    • @andymchaffie
      @andymchaffie 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm with you on that one. What did they keep of the original car? The chassis rails and inner guards? And then they say it's a "week to wicked", but what about the two weeks prep and paint work on the body before it turns up here? (Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful car, but as someone else has said here, "this is just an ad , cool but big ad.")

  • @super_badass

    So many wheel weights on those wheels! Either cheap wheels or the installer doesn't know how to mount the tires properly. I'm sure it'll be fine, but that's unsatisfactory installation.
