    Everyone I know that wants to really run their BRZ/86/FRS fast that I know motor swaps (usually a LS swap) it because getting the FA20 to make power is very expensive.
    I was interested in a BRZ until I test drove one. Totally gutless and slower than my worn out thirdgen Z28 305 Camaro. The BRZ is a great looking car that would be a good used pickup if you want a great handling car, bur it won't make much power with the stock engine.

Some miles later it gave a transmission code cel problem then it fixed itself....then a catalytic converter o2 problem...let the car idle for 30 minutes rev'd it a bit then fixed itself......now this..help pls ty(also i ran the flex fuel with a K&N cold air intake that is still installed so the tune was wrong and the air/fuel mixture was bad)

    • @sharkfr-s
      @sharkfr-s 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      U obviously don’t know the purpose of this car or the difference between different car models. There’s a reason there’s muscle cars, and imports. Muscle cars are meant to go fast on a straight line, heavy bulky not so great around turns. If u wanna drag race get urself a v8. If you want to have “fun” as u say, handling, light weight, quick around corners on a track, get urself an import and give it around 300whp and that’s wayyyy more than enough. These brz’s are not meant to drag race. 500whp is not gonna make u go faster down the finish line of a race track but faster into a wall.

    • @willp5376
      @willp5376 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      shark fr-s I mean... if you can’t control a car in a turn based off the power it makes then idk. Making 400-500whp would only give you more to do with the car. There are plenty of people that can track a 600hp car with out the fear of, “maybe I’ll go into a wall because of the power” going into a wall when tracking a car is always a possibility, regardless of what’s under the hood. I mean, not doing a proper star pattern and not torquing down your wheels can be dangerous enough. 😂 👌

      Not to mention the cost to HP gain is ridiculous in this video, and just not worth it IMO. Idk. It’s the internet and everyone has an opinion. 🤷‍♂️
