    Andy, ever consider selling a complete kit of materials and instructions for diorama like this?

    Thanks again for another great video and diorama. I completed my first diorama after watching you 2 years ago and it’s been all about dioramas ever since. Thank
    you Andy!

    Amazing. You make it look so simple, it’s not but you make it look that way. It gives us normal modelers hope! Keep ‘em coming.

    Great little tutorial (as always), turned out excellent, Andy 👍 Should inspire just about anybody to tackle a diorama! For those of you thinking of doing this, lay some clear cling wrap (from your kitchen) over the Sculptamold and then press in the track marks - this will stop any of the product from getting caught in the tracks.

    Great Job!!! now, as a builders tip, as you say, i think it would look better with a few rocks or even roots exposed, not a must, love your vids!!!

    I just started diorama base building, and this is very helpful! Although it might be awhile before I get all those the stuff mentioned, I have the static grass but not the expensive static creator, plus those pigments.

    • @jerryvolpini7987
      @jerryvolpini7987 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      *sylvain falquet* The static grass applicator is a great tool (a bit expensive) and there are videos on TH-cam to make your own. That said, for years, I just applied the static grass by hand - just pinch it between your fingers and drop it in place then lightly blow across it to help the 'blades' sit upright. Also, after it dries, you can tease up the grass with a paint brush.

    That's absolutely terrific, and in the sunlight it looks utterly real. I've never been worth a damn at dioramas but I may revisit the subject.

    Great job on the diorama base. The outside pictures are outstanding with the short focal plane so the back ground blurs. Have you ever made a "book end" set of dioramas? Maybe an tank like this one on one end and an antitank gun and crew on the other end?

    Great video Andy. Very nice tutorial for if you want to begin with building this. But what music did you used as background music during the time lapses, I like the music. Besides that, this video makes me want to build a diorama too.

    love all your videos they are very helpful, and a giant thank you for them all. question though, got most my vehicles and figures together, and now i am ready to start making a 8'x4' terrain, now the question after the scuptamold harden can you still just blend in a new section and feather it in for a seamless transition? will it stick to the old hard section, or would one be better off running in small screws so the screw head would form a anchor to secure it, or some other fixer between the two section? thank you much.

    Hi, Andy great video and diorama base!
    I was wondering, which hardware store did you buy the frame from, and how much did it cost? I've been using the wooden plaques from the craft stores but I like the look of the frame better. Thanks in advance.

  • @NapFloridian
    @NapFloridian 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    HINT: if you ever had FRUIL tracks, make yourself a wheel on a stick, or if you want to keep it simple us your 3 or 4 links and push them into the ground.
    Yes you need to have your model on hand to know how far apart you have to place the tracks but you do not run into the issue with having a messed up final model due to the skulptamold
