I had a feeling that the Academy won’t nominate it because it’s an animated film based on an animated tv show. The Academy never nominated animated films based on animated tv shows. Even The Simpsons Movie didn’t get nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars and that’s the highest grossing animated film based on an animated tv show.
I can't believe they nominated America Ferrera over Sandra Huller ,Julianne Moore and Rosamund Pike, if they wanted to nominate a comedic performance they should have went with Rachel McAdams!!! This Academy!!!

Enraged that Annette Bening, Jodie Foster, John Williams, & America Ferrera got in too.
The nominees are always alphabetical by film name (except the four acting categories which go by last name of course) and Idk why so many people don't know this.
So the second that the Best Adapted Screenplay category went from Barbie to Oppenheimer everyone should have known that KOTFM (and any contender after Barbie in the alphabet and just before Oppenheimer in the alphabet missed out on the nomination).
So your reactions at 3:40 were a little delayed.
I liked Melton too but I knew he wasn't getting it due to the SAG snub and the BAFTA long list snub.

Я бы отдала Спайдермен, потому что давно это кино иди, и я бы Оскар отдала, потому что хорошее кино и интересное, и много всего интересного там происходит, я бы дала спайдермена.

I’m gonna get a lot of hate for saying this but Barbie, Nyad, Maestro and Poor Things should not be getting any Oscar nominations in any of the major categories other than the technical ones.

I take comfort that Margot Robbie is rich from producing a 1.5 billion dollar hit, and Greta showed a female director can helm a 1.5 billion dollar hit. Margot had every precursor, so I think we can actually call this a snub. Sad Saltburn and All of Us Strangers didn't sneak in somewhere. Overall less surprises than usual. Congrats to all the nominees. And congrats to PGA for getting 10 out of 10.
