Man this man broke me talking about his baby girl dying. 😭 And now to hear his story….. he’s a real man who loves his family. I’m so so sorry for your loss.
When I watched about his daughter 💔 and sister I thought there was a family history of the addiction. My heart breaks for him & his wife ….. so happy they were able to get clean.
Oh, it's Max. So nice of you telling your story and being so bluntly honest about your past. I could tell you aren't a speaking type from. the video of your beautiful daughter. But you spoke damn well for a person that usually doesn't talk about troubles and feelings. Keep it up on your sober road 👌
Words from Max the man! Powerful words cousin, and a powerful story of recovery! Max saved my life back in the day when I was in a place I shouldn't have been in, Max helped me and today I can say I've been recovered for 19 years. You never know just how much that means. Hugs my brother, hugs for Kaylee hugs for Monica hugs for all that we have lost. Thank you for being such a strong man, for standing by my cousin and being a good father to your baby's daddy. Don't let anybody on the internet tell you otherwise, they don't know you the way that we do.
Proud of you Max! I mean that! Dude whiskey was my start too back in the day. I earned the nickname Evil Creep straight from my behaviors on whiskey. Man I'm the nicest person on earth by nature but you put whiskey in me and I change into a mean mean idiot. A monster. I haven't drank in to get drunk in 4 years. Slipped up and got blackout drunk on my 50th. Was sober 5 yrs prior to that. Was on opiates for 10 yrs. Kicked those 4 yrs ago now and change. I had to use subox to get right. It saved my life. I've lost so much because of that addiction. It takes a village man and we all in this together. God bless you and I pray for your continued strength. Big Ups to you!
This family has been thru so much. They have lost alot of loved ones to addiction. I'm glad Max and his wife were able to get sober. God bless your family. You're in my prayers 🙏
Max, I am so impressed with your strength. You and your wife have an incredible story and your family is lucky to have you in their corner. Please continue this journey of educating and sharing your struggles. You will save lives if just one person can say no to a pill. Thank you
Alcohol is the biggest gateway drug but its also the most accepted one. You will rarely see negative ads about alcohol but it makes you more comfortable to try other drugs. and alcohol itself is one of the most destructive things to the body
A short glimpse at the results of Prohibition, before and after, will answer any questions regarding the increase in crime, drugs, theft, auto accidents, fighting and more. The fact that booze can be delivered to your door is the worst nightmare to children who live with abusive alcoholic parents.
@floridagurl yes addiction is in his family his mother my sister is still in active recovering. Trying to stay clean she is the reason and his dad is the reason she is a addictic. Max has come a long way and Amber has to thank for that they both keep one another clean
If you are not using/drinking then you are in recovery. Even if you dont consider yourself an addict staying out of active addiction is recovery. Also i think if you dont work on why you drank, you could slip back at any time. And its always worse the next time around. Thats just what i think anyway.
For all that Max has gone through, all that he has lost, I have to admire his resilience. I hope and pray that the worst is behind him and his family.
Omg it's the dad ❤ proud of your recovery and thank you for sharing so much of your life

Maybe it’s related to the fact that alcohol employs millions of people, lines pockets of CEOs/investors, and earns Federal/states taxes.
