the first few minutes were exactly how I spent a day after I quit😂 While I think it's fine. It's ok not to be that self-disciplined all the time, as long as you're aware of what you're doing and enjoy every minute. Thanks for the video though, very relaxing.

Nice to see how you guys manage your own time! Did you ever have the problem of self-discipline when sticking to deadlines now that you don't have external pressure (e.g. boss, clients, etc)? Because it's definitely one of my personal hurdles when completing self-made projects!
For sure - sticking to personal deadlines (and creating a structured schedule generally) is definitely a hurdle we’re working on overcoming now. May do a video on this down the road!

I've liked Manhattan Prep as a good overview for topics covered, and otherwise have been relying mostly on problem set downloads from the GMAT Club forum. There are a ton of great question banks (and general resources) on there!

Hi Em and Llyod I have been seeing your videos for a long time now and found it really helpful. I want to ask you a question I am in a dilemma of whether to pursue a Bachelor's of Law or CPA after my Post Graduate Diploma. I am doing Post Graduate Accounting Diploma in Canada. I saw that you are studying for GMAT can you please share what inspired you to pursue MBA. I thought being a lawyer is a more financially and socially desirable career path than doing MBA. Thank You

Hey, what software do you use to generate your subtitles?
Em would you consider going back to family law/other areas of law? There's other areas apart from Corporate Law Firms / In-house (the other side of corporate law). I also tried my best to like corporate law, but it made me vomit, so I'm trying to find a Civil/Criminal Litigator "old style trial lawyer" as that I find most "real" about Law, and substantial work, not these contract-writing gigs in law firms.
I've definitely considered it before! In the end though, I realized my dissatisfaction with working as a lawyer didn't relate to the area of law I was practicing - it was more about not having a way to explore visual creativity in my work (which I also came to realize was super important to me)
@@EmandLloyd It's incredible that you've identified not only that you were unhappy but a concrete idea of what DOES make you happy. Given such, perhaps you can consider online design jobs? Graphic design, web design etc?

Why do you not consume coffee in the first 1 1/2 - 2 hours after waking up and AFTER the gym session? :)
Coffee right after waking up can disrupt the natural cycle of cortisol production / alertness in the morning, so we like to have it a touch later. In our experience, we're less dependent on caffeine this way too. Re: gym, it does help to have the caffeine boost before working out, but we prefer to save that boost for afterwards when we get started with work!

I use my Kindle mostly to read manga. Less backlighting on an e-reader than a tablet

Those are blue light blocking glasses, which are meant to help make screens/lights less harsh before sleep!
@@EmandLloyd thank you for your clear response. but what i heard about blue light blocking devices from a popular science writer is that theres no such devices that can effectively perform this role. this kind of hype is simply a bait created by manufacturer to trick customers into buying their products
