Homeward Bound/Home always hits differently now when you realize that half the people in that number have passed on. At least that beautiful song will forever be a great memory of them.
"homeward bound/home" is absolutely underrated. that was such a beautifully done mash up and the alumni back together like that was fantastic. but the part where finn comes out to join them *always* makes me cry these days.
I never fail to cry during Funeral, especially during Pure Imagination. Sue was at her most vulnerable. So Emotional was a top Santana and Rachael duet but Be Okay was a personal fav. I also loved Alone by Will and April, oh and when Will sang with the new football coach Beaste (I think is how it’s spelt) in that bar during Blame it on the Alcohol.
Season 6 listen to your heart was a stunning performance and no one ever talks about it because it was S6. Had it been done in s3 or s4, People would have paid more attention. Also the chemistry between the 2 of them just shines through in that performance
1.) Mercedes was the most under-appreciated character on “Glee” and she deserves all her flowers. She never got a solo for competitions and that's a shame considering her vocal prowess. Amber Riley was the most utilized actor on the show who received the least respect (Harry Shum, Jr. and Jenna Ushkowitz run a very close 2nd & 3rd). 2.) “4 Minutes” is beyond a bop. I love the “Glee” version more than Madonna & Justin Timberlake's version. With the phenomenal marching band, the incredible choreo, and the amazing vocal blending of Amber Riley & Chris Colfer, that performance should be a top 10 best from the entire series. It also helped to cement the bond between Mercedes & Kurt. Kurtcedes was a great friendship that got thrown under the bus for all of the Rachel-centeredness of the show.
Agreed. "4 Minutes" should have been a turning point, making the rest of the show all about showcasing the talent of the various cast members, but inevitably it all kept coming right back to Rachel.

I don't know if it's considered "Underrated" but I really enjoyed "Smooth Criminal" with the passionate dueling cellists. Those two instrumentalists should get a shout-out of their own.
Fo course Tina was underrated in an underrated performances video. Tina, you'll always be my favorite. Most group performances were great thanks to Tina (ABC, One of US, Breakaway, Wannabe, Pure Imagination, Home from season 6).

I wish these lists would put some respect on Tina's name! Her singing "Because You Loved Me" was one of the most beautiful performances from the show. Also, Tina, Mercedes, and Santana singing "Shake it Out" was severely underrated. I do agree that Santana and Mercedes were underutilized based in their level of talent. But if we're talking underrated, I think Tina takes the cake on that title.
I'd put Le Jazz Hot! #1. It's so impossible to sing, to relate to, to put it out there - Julie Andrews made it look easy, and Kurt? Made it something entirely different because of the gender-bending element. THAT SONG MADE ME WATCH VICTOR VICTORIA FOR THE FIRST TIME. for that alone, it deserves first place. I proceeded to watch it about 4 times in my 48-hour rental, and now I want to rent it again. Like I don't already have HUNDREDS of movies (many of them musicals) in my library!

I've never been first before! "Nutbush City Limits," "Bring Him Home" and "Bust Your Windows" are two of the best underrated Glee performances.
