You are correct about playing as the kidnapper dude in the intro and the woman in the attic being his mom. The clown segment was a nightmare the kid was having. Idk what the clown out in the trees was though, I just took it as the kid seeing stuff after so many of his classmates talking about it
I barely play games anymore but this is like the equivalent of watching a horror film on Netflix at this point

These indie games, there's something about their atmosphere that I don't know how to explain, but it makes me feel like I'm in the story, as if it were something that really happened.
I think it’s honestly (for me at least) the lack of backdrop music, it creates a level of immersion.

These games do a good job at messing with your feelings. All the different turns of the plot. The way all the characters have an untrustworthy vibe to them, you don’t know whos good or bad.

It’s good to see their games get better game by game, I think when I watched some of their even earlier games they were rough and the storytelling and graphics were not good. Now they putting together games really well. Kinda reminds me of puppetcombo and their rise
