Same, I didn’t care for the main characters voice 😂 it was weird! But all the same, I watched it all.
They usually have next to no budget, which is fine when you're a talented dev using free software and education. But when you need voice actors you end up getting a friend, relative or your own team to do it. I kind of like that corniness from that though, gives more of an indie vibe and they did the same thing for the Max Payne games, even down to the faces taken from the team's staff.
Low budget eh.
They don't have the money to hire professional voice actors.

You got the dates wrong. The crime was actually July 9th-10th 1931. The sentencing was July 21st 1932. And the execution is scheduled for December 9th 1932. ❤

Like Hollow said, this game has a lot of potential, and it looked really good! I just cannot get into the main characters voice, it feels too forced and off. 😂 Like it doesn’t fit for the character. Other than that, this game was actually pretty good, graphics were nice, and super fun to watch. Looking forward to the next episodes!

Very nice game. It has many similarities from the "Amnesia - The bunker" . This manual rechargeable flashlight and the whole gameplay with the lockers and the codes are very similar.
As soon as he woke up from his nightmare i thought "THE GREEN MILE"
It reminds me the game from 2004 "the suffering" great classic horror game in the prison.

Excellent! In general, I think it paces pretty well in the puzzles, tasks, and the plots. I would suggest adding more letters or clues or even dead bodies to hint about those prisoners’ whereabouts. For example, it mentions a few of them were reading books or writing poetry, right? Developers could link those books or poems to aliens and enemies and so on. Just some personal thought. Otherwise, the whole game would leave our protagonist alone exploring without other side characters.

The story was a little confusing, but wow, the graphics on those old interactive machines were impressive. 🤓
One thing I do wanna say is I respect the heck out of hollow , this guy genuinely deserves so much love and support he posts on a daily and takes care of his family I don’t know what sort of father he is but I can only imagine a great one thank you for bringing so much joy and light to the community we appreciate everything you do .

There were a lot of green mile references...where the desk was in reference to to the cells, where the bald black guys cell was located was John Cofey's cell in the movie. The names on the lockers were guards names from the movie. Paul Edgecomb was Tom Hanls character...which is why you found Wilson in his locker. I saw something you missed though, and you didn't stay long enough for the video to catch it...but where Paul's name was in the vents, and heard the tapping...it was tapping something in Morse code...and the code key was written on the wall when you said, I have no idea what any of this stuff means. Anyway, it looks pretty cool...I wish it was more like the movie than all the bidoes hanging around, and alien type theme. Just a cool mystery with crazy people would've been cool. The whole alien garbage is just not for me...idk it doesn't scare me, at least not nearly as scary to me as real people.
"The Quad" is a section of the prison where they only hold 4 prisoners. Usually the ones that are going to take the long walk.

Something's definitely up with the Developers in the game - the date-format is clearly in the British system - the crimes were committed between the 9th and 10th of July, 1931 - because later on, the format is confirmed as the sentence was passed on the 21st of July, the following year.
Not sure why a tale and fictitious crimes based out of the United States would have a non-US standard for date-stamping. Unless of course the data was created elsewhere in the world.
