He plays zombies literally from league start to multi-mirror tier...Its all he has played the last few leagues. And saying he only does afk blight is actual dumb af... but yes Its one of his main goals every league
Ghazzy, my carrion golem build is worth checking out. Easy to gear as it's ssf, and I say it sits above arakali fang in terms of dps and survival.
To be honest half of the builds on TH-cam seems like a bait to me, either they r overlay complicated or need specific unique to work I’m lost at this point, as here u got minion s tier list but what does it mean? Can I get to red maps day1-2 with just picking items from the floor in this guide or what S tier build in this list compared to other builds that r floating around?
I mean picking Guardian gets you to early Red maps alone, Big Guardian Minion slaps. Buuuut you are sacrificing higher endgame as it scales worse than necro.
Given my experience with Absolution back in Kalandra league and the addition of Vaal Absolution, I was expecting it to be in a low S-Tier. The only defensive weakness I remember (playing the CI-version) was Lightning-DoT when fighting Baran and Eradicator. With the addition of better ES basetypes and the return of Kalandra-Rings, going CI with Doryani's Prototype should be even easier.
Is strong but always feels clunky.

My absolution in affliction league was face tanking Uber Sirius... With 40mil DPS... The changes to taste of hate can help mitigate the downside of doryanis.
I will play as Ice Nova of Frostbolts Archmage hiero in starter league and will made a 2nd Necro char and play as Summon Holy Relic of Conviction when have dialla, amanamu, ashes .... I loved play this build in last league as Necro and want to play again in this league. Good league and good farm to us !

May be you forgot that Vaal Absolution exist, it's pretty much like press vaal absolution and run then whole screen go boom for the duration, which extremely fast clearing compare to other minion.

During the Iron Mass Skeleton bit, I was enjoying watching the head in the middle do a very good English dubbed Japanese/Chinese movie impression.
So this is basically challenging us to do a reaper build. If im correct, dot kills always count as player kills because of engine limitations. Reaper gladiator with the new 20% explosions?
Have you ever tried AWoSR with Oni-Goroshi? The Level Requirement on the gem equals the "per Level" on Oni-Goroshi, so you'll have a level 100 Minion at Gem Level 20, benefitting from the added damage.
Due to the Hateful Accuser's accessibility of the Penance Mark, Chains of Command receives a significant buff. We can drop the stupid Worm Flask and the associated Life Flask Recovery Points that made the build so clunky in a boss encounter environment...
I agree that the defense rework will really help the survability of zoomancer necro (a big reason why lot of ppl went guardian SRS). But we need to test it...soon can't wait!
How would you rate Popcorn build?
Srs + minion instability
It's not bad for leveling in acts and lower maps, but runs into the problem of just killing your other minions way too often compared to just doing poison SRS. You end up needing to make your other minions twice as tanky as any other build, which doesn't actually help your DPS at all. Minion instability also doesn't really benefit from various affliction spectres' auras like any of the other minion builds do-your only hope is a Perfect Marionette's Scorching explosion. Remember that you can't just desecrate additional Affliction spectres, which makes Minion Instability a large liability when using them.
Popcorn srs imo is sick. I've league started it half a dozen times and taken it to kill some ubers.

I don’t really want to ask because ik I am probably wrong, but is lightning srs dead? We are getting the spectres back, and we have the kalandra mirrors again so getting negative lightning res is easy. Theoretically lightning srs w the templar will still do decently well no?
As someone who usually mains minion builds, as well as hardcore. I'm interested to see how we stack up to the slayer and melle builds in the way of survivability. I will likely play SRS with zombie/golem/support specters/ and AG. But I'm thinking heavy End charge is going to the best defensive layer. So I'm having trouble deciding on necro or a jug/chief for a safe hardcore SRS playstyle.
Well now that we have rupture as a support gem. I do think reaper could be a bit underrated. And now that chance to bleed work with minions, Ambush/static strike/rupture support/law of the wilds might be fun.
Probably gonna do Zoomancer or Zombie from TheGAM3Report1. But I'm also interested in Sir Moustache's zombies as well (thanks to this video)
I expect elemental srs to land around C tier with the affliction spectres. Its going to depend how big the nerfs are.
as someone that skipped 4 leagues and came back for this one... its actually insane how hard minions got gutted, from quol, to mechanics, to quality effects that actually dont even make sense (spawning more srs? when you already get capped without almost any investment into speed? bruh, what a replacement for 20% movement speed)
no left mouse use? desecrate hard capped at lvl 80? auras nerfed to death? bruh

Dominating blow is the best build i've ever played in a league start
Also something about the AG chains of command build is the weapon exchants from runewords should apply to the AG when equipped.
So we could get a nice buff depending on which mods are present

Also what I said ended up being pretty amazing on BAMA using flestcrafter and a bow with that has the flat cold based on your es enchant.

I made a reaper that can have around 6 minions of its own after it kills someone which made it a lot better
Im going guardian holy relic. Its physical damage and the changes to some of the auras should work with it (purity, for example)
meybe you can do create new build - exemple: Arakali Fang daggger + bleed spiders (chance to bleed works with minions now)

Wveryone should start zoo. Simply because base pet damage outperforms. You then transition to putting more eggs in single baskets. We'll see which ones are best. Bama seems good but i dont see it as a minion build at all. Holy relic seems top tier unless nerfed.

3:35, Balor said that the the returning of the spectres from affliction probably will solve the divine blessing problem, even with minior nerfs.
If you wanna run 3 mationettes kinda i guess, but thats mostly for non minion builds, for minion builds wasting the spectre slots on marionetters for 1 aura is meeh when you can run 3 diff good spectres like spectral leader and the new old wildwood spectres
@@selenemh8724 its not for marionettes, but the spectres come with different auras and buffs.. in the end the affliction spectres will make the builds stronger than before even when loosing divine blessing

I can vouch that minion instability marionettes can do all content without AG as I did in 3.23

The only valid minion build is a melee minion build. This is Sparta league. Everything else is an illusion.

played holy relic last league, and it was one of the best build i've ever played, smooth, lot of damage, very tanky
Problem with it being meta is that everything in that build will be obnoxiously expensive
And then theres me! Iron Mass Elemental. The worst part of Phase's Iron Mass Skeletons with the worst part of SrS Elemental.

I did manage to pob it to 11M dps (10M purely skellies) clocking at 5-10 divines total expense with what I consider to be tremendous defensive layers but I am not sure I config the calc page correctly. shows about 50k EHP but does that take bloodnotch into consideration?

Why don't they make reaper absolutely a solo minion so you don't have to feed it? Also just make it deal like screen wide circular aoe's so it clears. It takes 1 second for GGG to buff it to make it usable

The video shows CoC AW as Occultist, but the guide says Necromancer. Nice tier list, really making me doubt going for slams on league start.

Jugg reaper using maloneis mechanism was so fun to run. Sad its trash. And now with the changes on snaring arrow its even worse. Maybe if you use the web aura, i guess enemies take increased damage too. Not sure.

Could reaper be viable (or other bleed minions) if Glad bleed nodes worked for minions? I know they don't but just as a thought if Champ and Glad could both support minions I think it could be fun for some more minion verity other than the question between do I go poison (Necro) minion or ele conversion (Guardian)

I am the lone reaper play. I insist on playing it every league to decent effect. I just think it looks cool so i make the best of it. The idea of pulling up a meta build and copy and pasting it bores the hell out of me

Also, your cold conversion holy relic build is a guardian, but under the tier list I see it listed as necromancer. Would you do the cold conversion also as a necromancer, or was that just for Balor's poison version?

Why is the mic quality so crackly / poppy
For anyone thinking of going stone golems, they are very smooth for clearing t16 maps without ever pushing a button (or perhaps an occasional convocation). But anything higher, I wouldnt recommend them. Easy on the wrists, but 10 mil dps is already pushing the limits.
Been using stone golems since harvest league, they can do full simulacrum and uber shaper, if you're good and also have great gear they *can* do t17 and some of the other ubers, but mageblood is basically mandatory at that point.
Clear without asenaths or profane bloom jewels is pretty shocking.
I prefer the bleed variant.

@@Zenbubbles I don't use PoB, long story short it pure golems elementalist, no other minions, one chaos golem, 1 carrion(jewel proc), the rest are stone golems.
hf totems to apply shock and cull. auras: flesh and stone, pride, determination war banner typically 6k life, 78 max ele, 81 chaos and 90% phys mitigation.
Other than jewels, only uniques are amulet daggers and belt.
Playstyle is place totems down to inflict shock, predator support mark enemies I manually apply vuln hex on enemies and dodge out of enemies attacks, occasionally I drop a void sphere for crowd control.
Build is mostly hit based but I like to do the bleed version and cap out minion bleed chance, once one shot wave 20 omni in a single bleed he died from his leap slam, another time a 5 sec run one shot hydra in
the formed.
Budget 100div
@@grungehog I see, thanks. Sounds good, but when I said t16 is the best you can hope for with stone golems I meant a 1 or 0 button playstyle, and at most a 20 div budget. For 100 divine most skills could do t17 maps. It is fun to push an off-meta build that far, though. Cool to see people do still use the golems. I hope they will be back in PoE2.
@@Zenbubbles I typically run them on 7 link, woke multistrike, woke minion damage, woke brutality, woke melee phys, ruthless and predator support and by that point they are gem level 30.
The expensive part of the build comes through the amulet and the multistrike gem, otherwise yeah I could kill maven on a 10 div budget using primordial chain and 4.8k life, done it plenty of times.

Same position for me here, like i can just pop minions and kinda forget about it and just run around while they kill everything, i don't want to chase after a particular corpse or particular mob to resurrect for my minions to be decent, is that possible ?
Arakaali can't have both AG and Spectres due to Ancient Skull. But its not a leaguestart due to unique (Fang) and t0 (Squire) requirements.
Start with SRS/BAMA and monkeys from Ashen Fields for charges, and if Squire is cheap- swap to Arakaali's Fang+ Squire.
Be cautious tho, BAMA is THAT good.
You can play any minion build without using spectres. They only add some damage (ranging from about 10 to 30% if the new spectres are really strong). So zoomancer, SRS, animate weapon, you name it. However, with divine blessing gone, you will probably have empty gem slots sitting there, which is a waste. You can also choose to simply use carnage chieftans from act 2, or only use spectres on difficult bossfights. For clearing, no spectres or animate guardian is neccessary.

You can play any of these SSF. They don't require anything specific. Only BAMA and Relic requires transfigured gems to work and even then you can just play zoomancer until you get the required gems from lab on your own and swap. All minion builds use essentially the same tree with very small variations. Very cheap in regrets to reroll and you can just use gold in this league to refund passives.
So skeleton archers is just completely out of the question?

Golems are not in a great spot and need a bit of love.
They do work but pure spectre build is just better.
I couldn't get Flame Golem's numbers to work well enough on paper, at least not while also maintaining good defense. I completed all content with Stone Golems including Ubers and Sim. Carrion Golems are similar but I found slightly less damage and slightly less hp.
Huge defensive bonuses from Golems. Hp regen was over 1500 and phys reduction was 90%.

@mkaya136 I do recommend without primordial might. I prefer it that way. Primordial might makes them aggressive, then they tend to travel outside your auras, which is only noticeable on very hard content. Also, they no longer listen to commands and I prefer to command my golems via the use of a curse. If I cast a curse in a direction, my minions/golems go there, Ie a particular boss or a "nearby enemies cannot be killed" rare
Flame golems are C tier for me. Not enough boss damage. If there’s a good build out there that raises them higher, I’d love to know about it.
