One random thing about Bag of Holding is that it doesn't replace the discard, it just exiles them from the grave afterwards. Most times this won't matter at all but it does mean you get to keep any discard triggers, while if it just outright made it "If you would discard a card, exile that card instead" you couldn't get that. In the like ten decks it'll matter in. Find it a bit weird hearing Blad of Selves and Cloudstone called Secret Tech lol...I meant to give thoughts on others but spaced out lol. Good vid tho

What they were talking about equip costs between 1 and 2, is perfectly illustrated by a budget kor equipment deck I built back in og zendikar. It ran bonesplitter (1 to play, 1 to equip, +2/+0) and trusty machete (1 to play, 2 to equip, +2/+1)...ALWAYS preferred getting bonesplitter
My secret tech artifact is Sun Droplet. Your opponents will need to deal at least 4 damage to you per go around to actually break through the healing of his card. On top of that, you get a heal trigger every single turn which can enable so many cards
Decks that can copy artifacts like Osgir can also make stupid effective use of Coveted Jewel because you can make an amount of them to the point where if anyone attacks you they deck themselves out.
Loved this, you know what might make good viewing? Maybe a deck tech were you show how you wipould go about brewing difficult builds like five colour commander with Progenitus or something. Love this show, watch something by you two everyday. Please don’t go changing everything to much!

Coveted Jewel can be surprisingly good in Aminatou. She can get it back, get the ETB card draw multiple times, and if they want to get it from you, they need to swing at your face rather than at Aminatou. Maybe not in the full-on CEDH versions of the deck, since it's got such a high mana cost, but other than that it's pretty good. It has that last benefit in any planeswalker-as-commander deck, really; probably why they put it in that Saheeli deck in the first place. Also, is Cloudstone Curio really "secret"? I think everybody who pays even a little attention to Commander knows it's one of the best "constantly bounce your things to get value" cards out there. I mean, sure, it's probably in fewer decks on EDHRec than it deserves to be, but I think that's more a combination of a really awkward price point (way too expensive for budget, but not SO overpowered that you're willing to break the bank for it in non-budget) and the fact that non-artifact decks that want to do that are at least a little bit niche, than it is that people don't know about it.
Crashing drawbridge is criminally underrated, for two generic mana you get a relevant body to block early and when you need to get going fast can tap to give everything that entered the field this turn haste.
You think perpetual timepiece would be good with Muldrotha? Is it worth having ways to protect your graveyard? My group doesn't run a lot of hate outside bazooka bog

I use Blade of Selves in my Roalesk, infinite turns/infect deck. Really handy to just kill the board in a turn with like doubling season and one poison counter on each opponent. it took me foreeeeverrrr to find it. Also wanting to use it in Adrix and nev with hall of mirrors
I put coveted jewel in shattergang brothers, use the 3 mana to sacrifice it to shattergang. It's on the graveyard so no opponent can gain control of it. Could bring it back with welder or similar stuff.
I’ve begun putting walking atlas in all my decks that struggle with ramp. It’s fantastic. I was helping my SO build a deck for the new bunny wizard Kwain and insisted he put this in since he’s also running several effects to untap his commander. Repeatable ramp is amazing.
Heart of Kiran also deserves a mention in the "best vehicle in edh" discussion. Having vigilance in multy is huge, as it leaves you with a blocker. I guess that now that planeswalkers are a bit out of the circle the alternative crew cost may be a little hard to activate, but still...
so, 8 months later you could switch the atlas for Esper Sentinel, but you probably knew that already - since this is a secret tech video, try out Eye of Vecna from AFR, it costs two colorless, replaces itself & you can pay 2 colorless and 2 life every upkeep to draw 1 more. I really dig the cost, it's not abusible but it's only 2 and even if it gets blasted, you still draw a card
Just a tip guys, when you are referring to another card not shown on the screen, you might consider just showing that card for a flash so we don't have to pause, go google it, and then come back to the video
cloudstone curio is probably gonna go in my volo deck. get a good etb twice, the token immediately bounces the real card if i'm not mistaken (im not sure if the copy and original enter the battlefield at the same time or not), use the token as cannon fodder, cast cast the creature again, and get loads of sweet, sweet value.
I think colorless cards have a pretty big advantage over the colored decks in terms of qualifying as secret tech considering they are legal in any commander deck. I've actually seen all of these cards and have used 7 of them in my decks. Let's be honest, Perpetual timepiece doesn't need to be in more than about 1% of decks because most decks don't care about their graveyard that much. If there was a way of seeing how many BG decks play timepiece(the decks that want it), I'm sure it would be much higher and wouldn't qualify as secret.
Coveted Jewel is an absolute must have in Blim, right? But yeah, it's only 1 mana more than Gilded Lotus, which is a staple, and just adds so much more interactivity to the game.
I think the new rock from Zendikar could be on that list. 6 mana for 3 indestructible rocks ? Sounds like a good idea and if you have any kind of token doubler, that’s even more stonks
oh my gosh you could put blade of selves in a sakashima vial smasher deck and just play a big instant spell like true polymorph (which makes something a copy) and then do a ton of damage spread chaotically all around the board lol
Blade of Selves is a great card. Its only printed in one precone deck. But that deck is printed one more time in Comander anthology II it would have seen much more play if it was reprinted.
Honestly I like the idea of endless atlas, but at the end of the day I would rather play spare supplies , the new common from ZR. 2 mana investment (4 total) for a card is a pretty good rate, and the second card later beats out the atlas for me.

I remember loving endless atlas when it came out because my favorite deck at the time was Unesh Paradox Engine and it let me go off that much easier.

Heirloom blade goes into my party deck lol whatever party member dies gets replaced with it which helps keep a full party

Skysovereign is the best vehicle, imo. It doesn't have haste, but impacts the board the turn it's cast.

Smuggler's Copter is the best vehicle in every format its not banned in.

I plan on using Coveted Jewel in my Blim deck with Uba Mask. That way anyone that gets the Jewel has to cast any drawn cards in that turn

Mishras/urzas bauble effectively make your deck go from 99 to 97 cards.... Add partner commanders 97 to 96.... They are amazing cards...

Smugglers copter overperforms in decks that run alot of 1/1s and mana dorks or graveyard decks. Specifically in my teysa deck, it is busted good.
