You might want to try to do some y sorting for the player, sheep and trees, this way it looks much better when moving behind them and if your collider for the entity is smaller than the sprite there is no point where you are between the trunk and the leaves
Hi, just found your channel today. I'm really looking forward to seeing how your game and career as a whole progresses. As someone who wants to start indie game development myself, I appreciate a view into what it's like. Looking forward to the next devlog! *BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*
I'm impressed by your map painting skill. You are very good at making a level feel dynamic, pretty and realistic. This is something I personally struggle with a lot! I can have a full tileset done, but my maps are usually too square, simple, and robotic. Keep it up!
I didn't think I could paint a map correctly, and I still have a lot of progress to do on that topic. It just takes so much time, but I think it's worth putting time and energy into it. And it's pretty chill working on maps :)
I got the last devlog in my youtube suggestions and i really enjoyed it, when i went to watch this part i noticed your subscriber count. You are really talented and your videos have high and professional quality! And im surprised you Dont have hundred of thousands of subscribers, you deserv it!
Unfortunately, no, it won't be available on Steam since it won't be polished/balanced enough (it's my very first project, made in 1 month). But it will be available on itch.io !
Hi ! I'm very impressed by your editing skills, the video is very pleasant to watch !! The level design is really matching the vibe of the game with the right amount of details (btw the sweat dripping from the tired dog is very cool) ! Keep up the good work 🎉
Love your videos. I think you're really setting yourself up for success with the release schedule for these longer videos and also the entertaining shorts. Fantastic editing, too. And I really enjoyed the bit with you and your partner! Keep up the awesome work.
The level design is so satisfying to watch you are doing amazing!

I implemented y sorting too, but only in order to handle sprites that are on the same layer.. I think I figured that out a bit too late 😅
You are a legend mate! I have immensely enjoyed the level creation timelapse ^^
But I have missed...
THE WOLF!
He will be back soon, hungrier than ever !
Underrated devlog! Love to see the final project!
This video is worth to be shared 😊, very good job !!
I'm just loving it !

Thanks so much for your super motivating comment that got me to wake up in a great mood 😁
Great progress ! Suggestion for gameplay variation, what about a drowning mecanism if a sheep goes in the water for too long ?
Right now there is no way for the sheep to go in the water.. but that might be something I add in a future map 😉
Hey love the game.
It might not be the best idea to ask viwers to gi and watch the first vid in the beginning.Instead give a recap.(just a thought🙃)
A short recap is a good idea indeed ! Although the next devlog is already edited & scheduled, I might do that from now on 😁
What can you download it on steam ?
Unfortunately, no, it won't be available on Steam since it won't be polished/balanced enough (it's my very first project, made in 1 month). But it will be available on itch.io !
This project is so cool. You deserve more subs.
