@@GardenloveHomestead yeah, 1 rooster for 10 hens is the right ratio- you only need one rooster in a flock- hatch your own chicks without having to buy anymore.
So you feed the pigs and dogs the old Roosters? Oh that's good to know. To substitute some of their feed and give them something nutritional. Love it! ❤️
Good day to you guys too. One more day closer to Spring. Yeah, roosters are stressy. 🐓🐔🐓🐔🐓🐔🐓
Thank you, yes they are stressy 😒. I'm so excited spring is almost here 🤗
🙏🙏🙏🤸♀️🤸♀️💕happy for the girls.
Thank you 💓 🥰
They give more eggs when not stressed! Great!
I noticed 🤗 I'm so happy I decided to remove those 2 extra Roosters 🐓. Even I feel less stress lol.

Older roosters are also harvested for the animals ,since they are tougher meat- dogs, pigs, etc food

@@GardenloveHomestead great way to cut down on spending money to feed your animals
We eat the extra roosters , when they young they taste like a chicken from the store but better
That's what we're planning on doing. I hear they taste way better then store bought. How do you cook them?
You should strive to keep the 10:1 ratio, so one rooster for every 10 hens. Anything more than they is not good for the girls
I agree. I definitely don't want more then 1 roster per coop and rum. I think even if I get more . Thank you.
