    I'm a bass player, so I look forward to seeing a backing track without bass, but this will do just fine. It's still sparce enough. AH forever !!!!!! Tony Williams !!!!!!!!!! Rock Fusion 4Ever !!!!!!!

      @nasticanasta 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      this isn't even close to the whole song...most of it is missing. everything is obviously electronic, that bass is sterile and soulless. Allan would not have approved, especially since he hated people copying him.

    • @michaelb.42112
      @michaelb.42112 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@nasticanasta Allan would also disapprove of your criticism since he was a live and let live player. I disagree that it's soul-less bass. This is for practicing, so it's fine.

    • @We-all-watched-the-video
      @We-all-watched-the-video 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Just start out by playing basic arpeggios for each chord, then add more tones to them. After a while add a bit of dorian, lydian, mixolydian, melodic minor + messian modes and just phrase it tastefully. Checking out some of Allan’s instructional videos are good as they also show you his variations on scales too.

    • @AirSK8FPV
      @AirSK8FPV 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Read "Reaching for the Uncommon chord" to understand what's going on in some chord changes in his progressions. It's best to learn the harmonic content before the lines.

      E lyidan. Bmi7. , repeat 4 times . the bridge is A6, G6, with those punches: B5, E5 D5. the long form of the bridge, the next time around is B5, D5, C5(with an implied lydian feel, C lydian). B E5 D5/ repeat both. the tag is Bmi, Dma6, F#mi6, alternates. i love that tag.

  • @stringtheoryx

    What's with the (intentional) wrong chord? Allan bends the chord up a whole step, which is beautiful. This track bends up a half-step, which just sounds weird.
    I wish there was a version of this track that was faithful to the original chords.
