Nice statues appreciate the side by side and enjoyed the review, between the two I would lean more towards the QS version but finding that perfect likeness and overall design isn't easy with Ledger.
I have both side by side and Queen definition has the likness but there is something truly special about the JND in person. He needs to adjust his suit a little, the jacket is sitting wrong.
I'll tell you what JND does look spectacular.. got my Selina in this weekend and with the goggles is something else to behold. Have her displayed with 1/3 Queen TDK and seated Joker on the combo stand and P1 Bane Ultimate which is oversized compared to the others but cool in front on a lower tiered shelf.
Thanks for this, I have P1 and Queen and have been debating getting JND. At times it looks awesome and at times it looks way off. Its probably one of those that shines in hand but hard to get a good photograph.
It's honestly amazing. Problem is it needs a bit of adjusting, so all the bad pics you're seeing of it are people who are just taking it straight out of the box. It's also a difficult piece to photograph, but in real life it looks like a mini Heath.

After your live action show and the review of the 1/4 heath ledger queens statue i decided to preorder it. The head sculpt und the tailoring looks phenomenal. Cant wait to get it in hand. The JND is actually amazing, problem is out of the box it honestly looks rubbish. The hair needs adjusting as well as the clothes, but if you take the time to futz the hair and clothes and stand back, you will honestly be flawed by how insanely good it looks. No offence to the collector who owns these in the video, but his example is not a good one. Like most people who own this piece, they just take this out of the box and display it as is, so people think it looks bad. I own both these statues and overall the JND is the standout piece, ONCE you've taken the time to set it up right.
I’ve had multiple time to buy JND near retail and still can’t find myself doing it. Sculpt is everything to me, paint apps can be changed but sculpt can’t and JND failed at the biggest factor for ME of course. Overall JND is nice but not for the price. Love my rooted QS and waiting for rooted 1/4 as well.
If you could mish mash figures to make the “perfect” HLJ figure (posable), what clothes would you select, and which headsculpt? Have u seen all the custom sculpts that have popped up on the collector’s forums, like MJ Choi’s and… I forget the other person’s name. Thoughts?
Great review. I have to agree, JND is bottom when it comes to queen studios and prime 1. I just think JND is very over rated. Queen studios has definitely nailed the likeness on the portrait especially on their new 1/4 scale version.
I don't see Heath at all in the JND portrait. It's as if the studio didn't have permission from the Ledger estate to use Heath's image, but they had the rights from Warner Bros for the Joker in The Dark Knight. So make-up and costume check, but no Ledger allowed beneath the make-up. Everything is off, be it the shape of the face, the facial features and the jawline. It's an easy win for Queen Studios here in the likeness department. The only problem I have with the QS piece is the hair, it looks too slicked back. I'm sure this can easily be fixed though.
QS is the winner here! I have the PRIME one, and frankly the JND for me is a failure and above all too expensive for what it is, it's old and something is wrong with this HS, I don't like the seam of the jacket also. thanks for the review.

I have always thought JND is abit overbearing and overrated , I’m quite happy with my PRIME1 and QUEENS pieces, well balanced near perfect statues for half the price of JND

Prime 1 is my favorite 1:3 Ledger. These are both great too, though. I'd give the edge to Queen for sure.

Queen Studios JOker by far is the best one out there. You and me have the best Ledger Joker statue out there

QS is the clear Winner. JND doesn't look like Heath Ledger at all, the Stitching on the Coat is horrible and the Price is ridicilous.
