For clarification. All the offerings comes with silicone bare hands, and arms with invisible wrist joints. Type C is the only sku that comes with the silicone bare hands and arms with invisible wrist and finger joints. The fig looks great imo, and I like the dogs although there should be three not two if you are going for movie accuracy. If I didn't already have an InArt Heath Joker I probably would look to get Type B for the dogs and smiling sculpt, or A at the min. Type C...I will with 99.9% certainty never display two of these Jokers at once, and use the bare hands and arms. Thanks for vid!
@@RT-oj4zt I would guess a fragile endoskeleton? JND has already been warning people that the hands are incredibly fragile and easy to break, they have so far said they will do a 1 time replacement for the hands when they break and that's it.
@@Elfenlied8675309 thanks. However, the old metal wire posable fingers can also be very fragile with wires poking through the silicon / plastic wrapping from historically from other brands. I do hope that’s endoskeleton though
$800-$1700 for 1/6 scale figures is silly. That's statue prices. Also, unless you're buying directly from JND, people in North America buying from retailers here when available should expect a markup cost. This will likely cost more than the rumored prices.
If I hadn’t spent a grand on the InArt Joker 2 pack, I would of gotten this JND version. But I’m probably in on the next JND 1:6, hopefully a WW or Reeve Superman. The JND looks to be the best Heath Ledger likeness and paint apps so far. I own a half dozen of the 1:3 JND statues and they have a great presence.
Oooof, these are beautiful! Those who are a GRAND in on the InArt version are just not gonna trade up. Like, who wants to take such a huge L? But DAYUUMM!!! This is stunning and certainly tempting
I think what’s truly dumb about the joker that comes with the dogs is that there’s no pipe included. In that scene joker is hitting Batman with a pipe. The Hotto 1/4 scale, Joker actually came with the pipe. Also, there appears to be no detonator to which hot toys also gave you one of those.
The extras on offer here with the JND are very meagre indeed. So few hands for such an expressive character, and as you said, it's missing so many weapons and props that he used. I suppose JND will say, if they were to even acknowledge any criticism, is that all of the focus and value has been poured into the figure.
Unpopular opinion but for me inart has still the best headsculpt/likeness. Also when I look at my Queenstudios 1/4th joker statue the sculpt is on point. (In general I think Queenstudios is the only company that can get Heath’s likeness the best, (not perfect)). Something about JND headsculpts puts me off. Idk if it is the sculpts themselves or the paintjob. Everything looks a bit too dramatic (like there’s a drama filter over the figure if that makes sense). I hope I’m clear in what I’m saying haha. I’m happy with inart and will stay with inart joker.
Yeah I'd go type B if I was getting one, it makes sense for you bro especially since you already have 2 excellent Jokers and I feel that new smiling sculpt is the most unique.
Thanks for the video , but after buying the InArt 2 piece Joker, I am all Joker-ed out😂🤣 I do wanna see a comparison video tho, but I have no intention of buying
Will this figure looks very cool. 2 concerns! Silicon material, how long will it last? Price, I can’t afford its way out my budget!!! Rolling eyes look incredible! But how real do we need these figures. I will try to find Inart double pack before I spend that much on this figure. To be honest I feel some Hot Toys figures are getting too expensive. So now I find myself really thinking which figure I’m going to add to my collection. Times are also getting tougher to spend my money. But if I could afford it I would love Type C. I couldn’t even make the Artisan version list for Joker or Anakin. And getting this figures are a bit tough too because I need to get them from overseas retailers.
Absolutely! Times are tough and these prices are only rising, sadly. The silicone is supposed to last for like 30-40 years? I have my doubts if you repose it often, though.
Honestly, given the uncertainty of who's carrying Type B I can see a play for you to go with Type C Will since shipping is included. In addition, you don't know what the reseller price will be plus the shipping that has to be thrown on top. You also won't have issues moving this if you have to or parsing it out if you're into that to recoup some of the ~ 1,700 charge. If I were to pull the trigger I would go Type B as it seems like the best bang for your buck but a boss like yourself requires the Type C treatment. I have the Artisan Joker on PO and honestly I am not convinced about the rooted hair. There's just something off about it, be it not styled well or too much volume. If the non-Type Cs aren't a pain to get I may swap over and cancel my HT Artisan.
Why wouldn’t you just buy the 1/3 jnd joker i seen it selling for $2k. Sculpt looks identical only thing missing is articulation, but everyone going to pose joker in a museum pose. I just dont see the value and there is already too many joker in all type of scales
I'll second this. I would much rather have the BB suit before the TDK. I'll also be very interested to see their take on BvS Batman. As good as the new Hot Toys 2.0 is, I think they've made him look too tall (v1 was tall enough), the cowls neck appears too long and narrow, and the capes texture doesn't right.
I want type a , but I want the other expression. But I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet( I want the dogs though, even tho there was 3 of them in the film ) but I'm taking a chance on this so I'll go with the lowest one if they do payment plans
Set A would be the one I'd go for. I am not keen on the laughing sculpt. The detail is there, the likeness is not. It could be the eyes or just the expression in general. The standard sculpt looks excellent, though, almost perfect. Again, to me at least, there's something slightly off with the eyes at the 4:40 mark in this video. How well have JND products measured up against their prototypes in the past?
I have two of their statues (Harley and Mera) and I have two more on order (Platinum Wonder Woman and Cavill’s Superman). In person they look GREAT, they really worth it if you can afford them.
@@bUnkkErr are you saying I’m a liar?, just because I don’t think the same as you?, I have some of their pieces at home how many have you even seen in person. Please be more polite. Thanks
I'd consider doing a little more research before the videos Will so you're already a bit more informed before recording. For example it does list magnetic base and the difference between the hands between the types was explained too.
With JND already warning people that the silicone posable hands are extremely fragile and that they are pre-offering a 1 time replacement pair for when they break... I don't see these Joker's lasting the test of time unfortunately. I mean, you already have the company saying one of the main selling points is so fragile and easy to break that it's a matter of WHEN and not IF.
The skin paint app and skin texture is far ahead of the Artisan or Inart. You see the fading in the scar. In the JND video it says Type A comes with silicone hands with articulation at the wrists but not at the fingers. If I was a youtuber I would get type C (will sell out fast).
For clarification. All the offerings comes with silicone bare hands, and arms with invisible wrist joints. Type C is the only sku that comes with the silicone bare hands and arms with invisible wrist and finger joints.

Amazing sculpt
I think so too!

Tbh they look great . It doesn’t warrant a upgrade over my deluxe rooted InArt joker .
yeah that's fair!
Well, 500 pieces worldwide. Let's see when it sells out!
about 22 hours!
I think it's good but he looks a little chubby! Face is too wide, he was a skinny fella. Cool technology though if it lasts!
if it lasts is the question!
I’m liking hot toys

I would like just the dogs, they look sick AF.

In my opinion these figures are best one among all Jokers...wow
seems that way!
I’m not getting this but to put the 2nd head sculpt on type b would you have to take the clothes off? That would be kind of annoying.
This is a good question! We'll see!

now that's the question!
Is the silicone articulated fingers hand likely to be made of metal wires or endoskeleton ?
Not sure. I hope JND clarifies that!

Type C has the bendable fingers type A and B only the wrest move.

makes sense lol!
The smiling face looks bloated.
Better accessories? But who else has the doggies? Who?!! And whaddya mean who wants the doggos? Who *doesn't* want doggos?!! 😉

I just don’t get why we now have another joker 2 pack. Why tf can’t we just take off the jacket 😭
I guess you could!
