- Quick video of my 1968 Mustang Fastback Pro Street with a 460 Big Block, Longtube headers and thrush mufflers. When I first got the car there were holes in the header collectors which can be heard in some of my previous videos. I had them prepared and this is how she sounds now. Enjoy!

i run open headers on my ram and my torino is straight piped im 24 don't give a flying fuck what law says on regulations im not changing 20 30 40 50 years from now don't matter I just run from police anyway in south alabama its actually pretty easy because all hills we got lol loud pipes and that smell of unburnt raw fuel for life no matter what panty waist government say because America fuck yeah haters get down suck it real good
No one is going to be looking up anything made in the next 20 years because everything is turning to shit. It seems like things made from about 1950-1980 are much better quality and are classics. Cars took a turn for the worse a bit sooner than 1980, but guns were doing great into the 80's, old Colt and S&W revolvers. TV shows and movies took a shit once they started having color TV shows, and music did great until about 76, but had a resurgence with funk and early hip hop in the 80s, buy I was born in 1981. Wish quite often it was 1941.
@@erictalkington5674 if cars took a turn for a worse after 1980... Then what about the legendary mustang foxbody... Iroc z.... Lt1... Ls1... Terminator.... Bringing back the Gt500... even now... The hellcat charger/challengers... Gt350 ... Corvette zr1 etc. There's still plenty of amazing performance/muscle cars out there. It's just different times. And that's coming from someone who has a built 1970 mustang 351c ... I do agree with how quality has changed... Now things aren't built to last.

Had a 67 coupe almost dropped my 460 out of my 79 f250 in it but had 3 h.o. 302s laying around but I'm glad somebody's done it. Might have to grab me another mustang in the future and see what I can make happen this is just wicked

Nice sound and Such a low rpm warm idle, wow. And. those Thrush mufflers sound great. I had em on my 65 Dodge Dart Gt in Highschool. DId you get the woodpecker decal with em???? lol
i really love the 460 big block fords, those dam monster trucks and power boats mmm mmm, i own a 351 cleveland its modified got a 400 cam in it and all the good stuff internal, it sounds deeper than the factory 351 clevelands but revs very high i got it up to 250 kph easy enough but i didnt want any more old factory spec falcon , a bit scary i had loads more pedal, its a very nice sounding engine strong but not a race car with its 3 stage fmx trans lol, kills standard falcon tyres in under a minute but kills c4 trans at the same time it was slipping weeks later, and the ither funny suckas id run into every morning on the way to work that i spank hard were passing me zooouugh!! needed the $400 for the trans though about 3 weeks i had the trans in, if i ever get another v8 i want a ford 460 big block they sound faarken mean if you get that exhaust right and yeh i dont want tje factory as fuck onez that dont sound like monster tucks wen you rev them up, they sound like the train wen idling, me loved, is it true that you have to spend alot of charlie on them to get em to go fast ? please some one who knows tell me , or how hard is it to get the big vad ass sound please tell me,

It doesn't have much thump,. It's got a deep drone and spitty, you might want to experiment with the exhaust, it just sounds like a louder factory 289

I have come to the conclusion the Thrush Mufflers sound better then Magnaflow, and Flowmasters. I have Magnaflows on my 460 67 Mustang, not bad, but not as nice sounding as yours.

Car came with the motor in it. Doesn’t look like the towers or anything was manipulated. Only thing under the hood is battery in the trunk

Unfortunately I had bought the car with the cam in it and the previous owner literally had zero paperwork on the car

I have one in my 73 as well it's only an issue with the fox body and up models
It actually fits better than at least one stock engine.. (one stock engine had hemi heads)

I believe it came out of a Lincoln continental but the 460 was an engine offered in the F series trucks as well
