Combat Instinct 3 (Flash) - Playthrough/Longplay

Two years later CI becomes a trilogy with the cyan eggheaded aliens now becoming the bad guys and the most impracticle combination of chaingun and rocket launcher, it's pretty epic asides from the air strikes being practically useless with it's delay.

I remember never being able to beat this game as a kid, I’d make it to the final boss then lose because I couldn’t destroy the torso fast enough. I still think this is hype though, I miss this era of flash games.

Here’s something you might not know: The Fat Flamers in Stage 3 are geared with two flamethrowers, which you can acquire as a secret weapon by killing them with a belly shot instead of a headshot, then looting it from the corpse and pressing “/“, while the machine gun wielded by Hrumian Gunners can be acquired as a secret weapon by holding "Enter" while looting it and then equipping it by pressing "*".

I've been playing Combat instinct since the first one hit newgrounds and I've never heard of this. I literally just now went to try this and it worked. How did I never know this?

I remember how hard this installment of combat instinct is. Heck my brother doesn't even know how to kill the final boss because it was confusing and difficult understand

One thing I found funny back in the day was that the corpses could still be interacted with, including their shields; I think it was if you held left click on one of their shields with the shotgun it would play the deflection animation constantly, a line spinning around.

@@MartinThompson-e1g No they went underground before we even showed up. Their planet was already uninhabitable by that point. Also, they could have beaten off the aliens the entire time with their transformation and fleet. They were literally just biding their time waiting for another species to come take revenge so they could steal their planet.
