I have a feeling that the Poppy Playtime movie will be a sort act as a prequel to the game, even with the game while incomplete, already is a bit too big to fit everything it has into a movie.
There is an event that the game touches upon called The Hour of Joy, where all the giant toys rebelled and killed all the workers in the toy factory, there’s even footage of it and it was a bloodbath. I could see the movie being the events leading up to the Hour of Joy.

I think it should be a basic storyline with the main characters coming back to the factories and so on,just to introduce the franchuse to people that havent played the game.If we start the movie with a prequel,many people that havent played the game has no idea what the franchise is about.
If they're coming out with a Friday the 13th TV series called Crystal lake it's got to have Jason. Jason, is the money maker the backbone of the franchise

At this point, I'll be excited for a Friday the 13th project when it's official, and we have a concrete release date.
I actually thought that the sequel,"Prey at Night" was so much better than the first.
Me and my wife just watched it yesterday already seen it plenty of times..but we both said the same thing we enjoyed prey at night better then the first one.

Yeah, this is a new era of video game adaptations but my problem with that is well. I just hope they don’t follow the steps of five nights at Freddy’s. I’m not so sure if you watch five nights at Freddy’s so I won’t get too deep into it actually I just won’t talk about it. But I’m more happy that Poppy playtime was picked up by legendary then Blumhouse because if you look into Plum House productions, movies deal notice a pattern, their budget. The budget of Blumhouse’s movies are around possibly 10 to $20,000,000. Basically they don’t go over $200 million or $100 want to stay below that way below. Look that’s not a problem, but is Poppy playtime so I which takes place in a factory and a factory is huge really huge so I don’t think a budget of 20 million will cover it because I know they want to do a mix of practical and CGI it’s got picked up by legendary, but the there’s one problem the execution I want this movie to be scary like really scary. Back to Blumhouse another reason I like the fact that legendary picked up Poppy playtime is because the new release of Blum movies of this year lackluster imaginary & night swim it’s not great yeah when it comes to Blumhouse movies either hit or miss. I hope when the Poppy playtime movie comes out one the game is complete. Two books are complete. Anything that’s story related to Poppy playtime, including games and books is all done because I want to source material to be done before they start going into productions and then run themselves into a corner.

Even though I want to see a movie today. Chris's 3c film updates and news are the best parts of my day.
I’m excited for the poppy playtime movie especially bc the recent chapter fully cemented itself as a horror game and not just a kids game with jumpscares in it. They even killed off their 2nd villain in a gory/brutal way. As for the strangers chapter 1 I think I’ll probably be in the middle of the movie. I’m just hoping that for the Friday the 13th series we get adult Jason.

I'm excited to see something new with Friday the 13th. I joined the franchise back in 2020 when the series was basically dead, so it'll be nice for something to happen with it after I became a fan.
It should be a team up show since Baghead Jason could have been active and was maybe injured from whatever happens at the end of this proposed series, around the time Christie started re-opening the camp. So Pamela has to work solo, leading right in to the first film

- Lotr: Announced literally on the day I built the Lego Rivendell set. Aside from that, I see a lot of reasons to be interested, and a few reasons to hold reservations. It'll depend on what will happen with it
- Disney: The streaming bundle is equally surprising and logical. The Marvel output limit really is needed, so good to at least know how much it'll be limited. Feige's comment is a bit mixed for me. With the comment of originals and sequels, I'll wait and see
- Poppy: Makes me wonder why it was a bit slow, but at least it has a studio. Kinda feel it is too soon though honestly
- Strangers: Semi-expected for me
Friday: That's pretty big, but does bring some pros and cons. Sounds like we need more information though if you ask me
I'm not surprised that the strangers is getting a mixed reaction, the first two also were plagued by mixed reactions, more so the second one but the first one still got its fair bit of hate when it first came out for being a pretty bland slasher story all things considered, I loved the prey at night but I can still recognize that the film wasn't incredible good when compared to the first one

I shouldn't have listened to the early reviews for Chapter One. I'm really hyped for it and I'm gonna review the shit out of it.
I was a massive fan of the first strangers and I was ok with prey at night. And I'm going to see chapter 1 next one and I'm really looking forward to it. These early reviews are kinda having me worried but also very intrigued and curious

I feel like most horror movies get mixed to negative reviews and still tend to be very enjoyable and most horror movies with overwhelming critical acclaim are often times the most boring thing in the history of existence, which only get credit critically cause it’s soft core horror with nothing scary ever actually happening.
I highly suspect critics are a cowardly lot who don’t like to actually be jump scared, but rather have the suspense of believing they’re watching something scary when there is never anything scary about the film at all and then when they spend the entire screening shaking in their boots for nothing, they think “that was masterful”. But, The Rock says, “It doesn’t matter what you think. Know your role and shut your mouth!”
If you get around to watching LotR. Make sure it's the extended editions. You get so much more, and you being the positive dude that you are, I can't imagine you not loving it. Also, the first film is a hurdle.
19:16 I think I would absolutely love to see a multi-season Friday. The 13th show pretty much recapping and remaking the movies throughout the series. Only this time doing it in a way that makes sense and connects each of those stories. A TV show is the perfect format to do this to actually connect all the previous movies not have them in the same continuity as the movies but just change an altar. Things from those previous movies have an entire season be dedicated to one of the movies you get at least 10 decent seasons out of a premise like that

You may want to take a look at Peter Jacksons filmography before Lord of The Rings. He didn't exactly have much in his directorial history prior to it. Mind you Bad Taste is an absolute classic and The Frighteners is underrated.
There was a "Friday the 13th" TV series long ago(1987). It has nothing to do with Jason though. It was about a small team of people who retrieved and secured cursed items. Sort of a small scale supernatural precursor to "Warehouse 13" and the SCP foundation.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy extended edition box set is my all time favorite possession. I’m down for more middle-earth films produced closely by Peter Jackson and that team. The Hobbit was fun, I hope they can do even better this time.
