I'm glad someone is giving this a real runners chance. For a developers first game ever, I think this is an incredible piece of work. How did you feel after playing?
I think that this game is close to perfect for a 1st game. Ponty Pants did a really great job not rushing his masterpiece. As I grew up playing games like punch out and wii boxing, this not only makes me nostalgic, but I am properly paced into a challenge. Hands down Ponty has created a wonderful game that everyone should try as the mechanics are great as well.
I found that what really helps in the luchador fight is trying to stay in the center of the ring. That way, if he starts his mad dash back and forth, he has to run to the ropes first, and that gives you time to get out of the way. If you fight him near the ropes, he can immediately bounce off the ropes into his mad dash and hit you. Also when he jumps up into the air the best way to dodge is to just keep circling around the ring and when the camera pans over to where he's gonna land dash directly backwards.
It is very nice to see how to evolve playing the game. You start kinda bad, then get the mechanica and become very good at it. This means that Pointy rechead his goal, it was exatcly what he intended to
Exactly! This is my favorite thing about the game, being that the difficulty is at a solid pace to learn as you go and never gets too difficult. The learning curve is there for everyone.

I wanted to correct you on the Dev's name, it's "Ponty" lol, the character in game is a joke name to not be a straight self insert lmao This game is super fun!!! I got it destroyed so many times, and will continue to do so because I'm still trying to beat the last boss, no spoilers tho ;) Glad you seem to be enjoying this just as much as I have been, cause it's a greatly made game, the Dev has a full devlog on youtube, you should check it out if you like stuff like that! My honest only complaint in this game is the fact that special moves (such as the sumo's stomp, or swing attack) don't take any stamina from their bar at all, meaning they can sorta spam attacks sometimes :P Gonna watch your previous vid now, and I hope to see your next video on this game! :D
Yeah, but I feel that the bosses being able to spam their abilities makes the charm to this game a little more special. The fact that they get to be so unique will forever stick with me as each fight for the most part is memorable.

That's a great question! I'm looking into playing other indie games, such as Fears to Fathom, other indie horror games, and indie games as a whole. As a closer time frame, I will be playing and testing the waters with the Dead Space remake when it's released. I'm definitely open to playing any suggested games as well!
