Was this in a state that runs into the smokey mountains? It looks like TN and the Carolinas.
Close! Maryland in the Appalachia area. Same mountain range that runs through the South.
How is water managed for land purchases? Is well water typically used, or is land bought with access to nearby plumbing? If a water well were needed, could it provide enough water for multiple glamp sites, or would a mini water tower be necessary?
The answer, of course, is it depends. It depends on proximity to the water that the locality provides, mainly. If your land is close enough to tap into locality water, awesome. You just have to lay the plumbing that will connect to it. If you're more remote, like this property, you may need to dig a well, if your land is close enough to the water table. This property has an existing well and ability to dig another well closer to the glamping units. Let me know if a video dedicated to utilities (water, sewage, electricity and roads) would be helpful. There's a lot to consider that I can't fit into a comment.
Additionally, I do not advise purchasing land without knowing how those utilities will be provided. That should be part of the due diligence process before signing a contract.
