The info which was given in last minute cleared my years old doubt about why do elevators have ⏬&⏫both.
Sir I have a doubt. If there are 2 persons 1 have to go up and another to down. Both pressed the button as per their requirement, when the lift stop how will I come to know that for whom lift is stopping. I mean to for the up passanger or down passenger.

The number of elevators required in a high-rise building depends on several factors, including the height of the building, the expected number of occupants, and the building's purpose.
Generally, a high-rise building would definitely require multiple elevators to efficiently transport people and goods throughout the different floors. If you can give us your specific building details, we shall guide you better on this.
This lift explanation is super. But more than this our electrical equipment testing based videos will be more useful for real time workers also. So explain such concepts like transformer testing, CT testing, CVT or PT testing, primary injection, secondary injection, etc..

what if, i want to go to X+ floor and the lift is going down with the person from Z to down. if I press up switch the lift won't stop in my floor and go down. Then from the down floor the lift become overload (full)and works with the person riding from down floor. so that i need to wait until the overload(after the ride of people in the down floor is over) is removed. In that condition is that better to press both(up n down) the switch and enter the lift and travel along with the first ride?
