Desert speed, what your opinion on 450l vrs 250x for street/dirt bike? Thanks for any help. Trying to narrow down for new bike purchase n a month or so.
Just back from dealer today, I don't know if he just trying to sell me what he had or what, but he said either 250xor 450x would burn up on hyway due to higher long rpms/bike was built for short quick bursts and would need a lot of piston rings and other maintenance that the L"s wouldn't.

L models are 400lbs. Anything is better than those.

Also only one new 2017cr250x left in va according to him, that tells me they a pretty popular model..
Meh, 450x is way better.
