An important caveat to depth is that the super ideal oval diamonds on the market (Distinctive Gems and Jann Paul) are actually deeper than those on the free market. You need that extra depth to provide enough facets to kill the bowtie.

Hi dear! I added the Emerald to my list :) Asschers are mostly square, if you want slightly elongated, emerald cut is perfect!

I’m a size 5.5 and I have shorter fingers so they look wider. My oval is a 2.46 carat and a 1.43 ratio which is perfect for my hand size and shape 😊
