Yet more great stuff from the morcambe and wise of the canal system. It’s like the best tv show with comedy, history, nature and boats all thrown in the pot and the way you mix the stunning filming with the perfect soundtrack is amazing. Could do with an 8 hour mix of just video and music to lose a whole day in. See ya next week guys
I've noticed that your filming and editing is superior to many of the other narrow boat youtuber's, especially going through the locks and the scenic areas! Mixing in the views from above makes it a joy to watch!

As usual fantastic filming extremely entertaining and very informative. Who needs TV with you two on you tube I life model at a art class and yesterday we were talking about best programs on TV and 4 out of the 12 present said you two are tops. Xxx
I’m so glad I found your channel a while ago. You make such wonderfully interesting vids, along with historical trivia, gorgeous scenery, and very apt background music. Not to mention, you two are so funny and cute you make me laugh. I’m very UK/IRE on both sides, several generations back. Except for my maternal gramps who came over at age 10 with his family, and though his elders died long before I was born, I grew up around him. I’m a Californian, but it always feels like “home” any time I watch stuff from across the pond, especially England. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Ah, Friday afternoon, the weekend upon us, making a nice pot of tea and getting onto TH-cam, but what to watch? Ah yes, a new episode of the Foxes, just the most perfect thing! Another informative video, especially with such little details like the forlorn tramway, love to know stuff like that! Thanks so much for putting all that time into recording and editing these, always a pleasure to watch! :)
I am new here and have fallen in love with your vlogs. I have gone back to the very beginning and I am watching them through. I usually watch 4-5 in a row after getting off of work. Very fun and relaxing.
Unique combo of nonsense monologue (much appreciated!), laughing answers, and excellent cinematography of canal life. Quirky and very professional. Remain healthy in these uncertain times!

I cannot think of a better way to start my weekend off than to watch you two fine Gentlemen entertain, educate and thoroughly put me in a good mood. The filming and narration of the Edstone Aquaduct was spot on and your crossing of the Birmingham Railway was quite scenic. Oh, Hill Farm Marina looks like such a tranquil place to live out in the country. Your shot of Silver Fox through the bridge and Daffodils @ 16:18 was just lovely. And . . . the barrel roofed Lock Houses are something I never seen before, I am very happy you included these, so unique. You definitely earned every bite of the pie at the pub, thanks so very much Colin and Shaun ;)
Wonderful photography and narration lads - particularly the drone shots crossing the Edstone aqueduct. Congratulations to you both on celebrating your 27th anniversary together - a wonderful achievement. 😃👌❤️❤️❤️

The aqua-duck, the longer one was quite groovy. Isn't there a higher one in Wales? Last but not least, you two, The Foxy Twins, as I call you, are so funny and seem so happy together. Oh' yeah, I really love your history of the places you travel too. You have the grooviest Narrowboat series on the air.
First time around I wS distracted by leek and mushroom paella. Second time around both the cat and I watched properly and enjoyed your post thank you. Smokey liked the scenes showing the boat cruising, I enjoyed the lot. Thank you.
Great intro with the usual double entendre's from Colin and Shaun's infectious laugh sets everyone up for an enjoyable, fact filled and enjoyable vlog- great work guys x
Little known fact...back when the earth was flat me and my friend Sue went to see Cliff and the Shadows at Portsmouth Guildhall. My Mom got us a back stage pass and we got cheek kisses from Cliff and all the Shadows....didn't wash my face for a week!! Another fabulous video, my lovelies. Keep safe and well.

Keep up the fantastic work and may God Speed🤪
Fellas! I stumbled on your Vlog in a link from Aquaholic. Anyway, I’ve seen maybe a half dozen Vlogs in no particular order. I’m now going to have to start at the beginning and do it all properly. Just wanted to say that what I have seen I have thoroughly enjoyed. Keep doing what you’re doing and take care of each other....
Eeeeeehhh! Lads the aqueduct, drone footage, photography and music. Terrific. LOVE your ‘history ‘ notes Colin. Hidden talents coming to the fore now with this lifestyle 👍
I want Pie too!! instead, I have snow coming down, and a very busy street view.... with our little town and whole state on a "STAY AT HOME" mandate, the traffic is interesting, no church services for now and the plant is not running 7 day weeks (yet) so there's really no reason for all that traffic.
It's Friday, it's Foxes Afloat day. The smiles, the cheer, the lovely information bits... awesome, and the best way to go into the weekend. Love you guys.
I don’t think it matters how you say scone as long as the cream goes on before the jam, else you’ll be in for trouble in some parts of the country. Great video!
On our October cruise we moored at Wootton Wawen and walked to the station and excitedly held our hand out to stop the train (as it was a request stop) for a day trip to Stratford! We then cruised to Lowsonford, moored in the exact spot as you and went to the pub. Enjoyed seeing the sights again on your excellent Vlog.👍
Ah yes I have walked that aqueduct a couple of times. You get a good view of the boats as they glide by. I really enjoy your musical montages with the excellent music choices, and the different angles you shoot from. Yes, your channel is my favourite boating channel. Bravo! 👏👏👏
Talking about Diesel fuel. I understand you have to use white fully taxed diesel in pleasure boats now after European directives banned red diesel a few years ago. Do you think after Brexit the Government may relax the rules again and permit lower cost diesel to be used in narrowboats?
@@FoxesAfloat Thanks for that. I'm not a boat owner but I remember Europeans were wanting the UK to conform to some directive but I guess they sidestepped it.
I bet you were gutted you didn't get a passing train! Your choice of music this week is very relaxing great camera and drone work as always, the sound of the water lapping at the boat is noticed too😊😊
I've been under the Wooten Wawen aquaduct many times that stretch of road seems to have a speed camera every 100 yards ( it's a right pain ) at least you don't have to deal with them on the canal which is a good job as the way Dylan skidded to a stop as he jumped on the boat would have got him a ticket 😁 . Scone / scon ? who cares as long as you share um with me , thanks for the entertainment your blogs really are brilliant . Take care lads . S
Living here in the Midwest, Huntsville Missouri USA, we had never heard of these boats or canals. We LOVE watching your videos! Please keep doing what you are doing! The history of the towns and places you are passing is super cool and the drone action shows the beautiful country.
you really know how to get the best images! they really are beautiful, as well as the music you use. - thank you so very much! really needed this this evening!
Guys, I have just recently been introduced to your vlogs by my lady friend. I am 61 and thoroughly enjoy the interaction the two of you have. A huge thumbs up to your exquisite music choices. I have found putting my favorites in a folder all their own and listening to them on rainy or "down" days are very therapeutic. My goal is to catch up to where you are currently are vlog-wise before I get too much older and grayer. Take care.
well lads another great video and done like you were both born for tv brilliant the facts the laughs and the stunning country side filmed so well ,makes for an enjoyable watch ,,after a day working in a big hospital i watched your adventure and thought what a great way of life ,it looks wonderful ,and the little dog looks well happy ,well thanks for that both ,until your next adventure on cut ,happy navigating ,ps i can,t hear the name william shakespeare with out imagining the star ship enterprise now ,lol.
Love this video! My 6 year old son and I are coping with the lockdown today by watching your videos and imagining ourselves cruising along the canals. Thank you for posting!
Evening chaps, You seem to have a theme going with the letter ' W ' to have a laugh! like Wimboldsley, Wilmcote and Wootton Wawen Whilst Wandering on Water in Warwickshire lol. Always a smile when I see the email from you both.
Fantastic video guys and once again Colin you had me in stitches, "I get called an odd lock. Well it's like the same letters, but mixed up" Pure comedy gold. Looking forward to the next enthralling instalment. Happy cruising lads.👍
@@FoxesAfloat If that was Guinea Pie, it's better for you than most of the traditional English pastries. We had an ex-pat neighbor when I was young, and how I still miss all the meat pastries she made - even Steak and Kidney!
Loved the different points of view whilst crossing the aqueduct, the initial drone shot pacing the boat was perfectly shot. Please may I have more of that brilliant content! Copious amounts please!! And thank you for giving a historical context to the voyages. It’s very intellectually stimulating! Because : “my mind rebels at stagnation.” Sherlock Holmes.
What can I say? The camera footage is amazing and the facts are bang on as always. Thanks guys. Glad to hear Dillan is safe and sound. Safe travels and hopefully I’ll have my narrowboat soon so hopefully I’ll see you around for a brew 👍🏻
Hi Guys Great sounds of water at 13.20....... almost an ASMR vlog! Watching your life at 4 mph is in stark contrast to the pandemic unfolding. Perhaps next week’s vlog will show you clearing a supermarket of toilet rolls, pasta, rice and long-life milk? 😜
Outstanding work guys. The music in this one was especially wonderful. Have watched three times just for the music. Found myself ducking at the low bridge. Great video of Silver Fox on the aqueduct. And the baaaa lambs. Travel safe guys. Remain well and strong k

Scone / scon ? who cares as long as you share um with me , thanks for the entertainment
your blogs really are brilliant .
Take care lads .

Haha! Speeding tickets on the canal. Seems a legit idea 😂
And as well as the pronunciation debate, let's NOT get into the one about jam or cream first !! 😱😱
@@stephenpegum9776 Aww, go on! I do enjoy a mass debate 😂
Hi Colin and Shaun simply glorious part of England. You've really done it proud with your vlog. Visit Britain eat your heart out. XXx
Thank you! Eating our way around Britain!
Definitely a scONe... none of this scOWNe nonsense...
100% 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Living here in the Midwest, Huntsville Missouri USA, we had never heard of these boats or canals. We LOVE watching your videos! Please keep doing what you are doing! The history of the towns and places you are passing is super cool and the drone action shows the beautiful country.
Thank you so much, Diane! 💜

That was really an exceptional video! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Kelly 💜
Guys, I have just recently been introduced to your vlogs by my lady friend. I am 61 and thoroughly enjoy the interaction the two of you have. A huge thumbs up to your exquisite music choices. I have found putting my favorites in a folder all their own and listening to them on rainy or "down" days are very therapeutic. My goal is to catch up to where you are currently are vlog-wise before I get too much older and grayer. Take care.
Hey Mark. Thank you and welcome! 👍🏻
One of your best vlogs yet, Colin and Shaun! Thank you for this, much appreciated.
Thanks, Scott! 👍🏻

Oh, don't encourage him with the William Shatner thing 😂😂😂
Another wonderful vlog. What beautiful weather! And that moment with Colin and the windlass in the outtakes was strangely erotic!!
Haha! You should see me in my other life 😏
Cinematography and music gets better with every vlog. Well done guys. That pie looked real scrummy!
Thank you. Yes, its was delicious!
Love this video! My 6 year old son and I are coping with the lockdown today by watching your videos and imagining ourselves cruising along the canals. Thank you for posting!
Our pleasure, Margaret! Good luck coping with the lockdown! 💜
Evening chaps, You seem to have a theme going with the letter ' W ' to have a laugh! like Wimboldsley, Wilmcote and Wootton Wawen Whilst Wandering on Water in Warwickshire lol.
Always a smile when I see the email from you both.
Yeah, need to be careful with the W 😏
Fantastic video guys and once again Colin you had me in stitches, "I get called an odd lock. Well it's like the same letters, but mixed up" Pure comedy gold. Looking forward to the next enthralling instalment. Happy cruising lads.👍
Cheers, Steve. See you next week!
My goodness that pie looked good. A heart attack on a plate but what a way to go!
Yummylicious! 🤤
@@FoxesAfloat If that was Guinea Pie, it's better for you than most of the traditional English pastries. We had an ex-pat neighbor when I was young, and how I still miss all the meat pastries she made - even Steak and Kidney!
Your reports are always beautifully filmed and edited. I watch on my T V. Really appreciate the info and lovely scenery.
Thanks, Susan!
(Not showing off) I watch these on a 60" 4K TV and the videos look stunning. This one especially - lovely '3D' depth to the scenes.
Thank you for the escape(ment) during confinement... Lovely pics and professionally commented. Hugs from Mechelen...
You are so welcome 💜
Loved the different points of view whilst crossing the aqueduct, the initial drone shot pacing the boat was perfectly shot. Please may I have more of that brilliant content! Copious amounts please!! And thank you for giving a historical context to the voyages. It’s very intellectually stimulating! Because : “my mind rebels at stagnation.” Sherlock Holmes.
Cheers, Matthew. I try to only use the drone where it adds value to the episode, so it's nice that you appreciated that little bit. Thank you!
Beautiful day and blog such beautiful video footage with the drone congratulations guys,I did the aqueduct last year and didn’t see a train either.
6 an hour that day! Haha! I did catch one on the drone but it didn't make the final cut! 👍🏻
I'm jealous of your beautiful cruising day. How perfect!
It was lovely! 💜
What can I say? The camera footage is amazing and the facts are bang on as always. Thanks guys. Glad to hear Dillan is safe and sound. Safe travels and hopefully I’ll have my narrowboat soon so hopefully I’ll see you around for a brew 👍🏻
Always welcome. Just bring cake 😉
Another great video guys. Look forward to it every week at 4pm. Great to watch and cheers us up after a tiresome week at work. 👍
Thank you! Have a lovely weekend! 💜
Hi Guys
Great sounds of water at 13.20....... almost an ASMR vlog! Watching your life at 4 mph is in stark contrast to the pandemic unfolding. Perhaps next week’s vlog will show you clearing a supermarket of toilet rolls, pasta, rice and long-life milk? 😜
Haha! No way! None of that drama here 😂
Fabulous as always. Funny, interesting (thanks for all the delving Colin) and glorious views.
Cheers, Carolyn 💜💜
Outstanding work guys. The music in this one was especially wonderful. Have watched three times just for the music. Found myself ducking at the low bridge. Great video of Silver Fox on the aqueduct. And the baaaa lambs. Travel safe guys. Remain well and strong k
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Just a heafs5 up guys. Koodo to you. You are the fastest that I have found to reply to questions and comments. Congrats. After binge watching and now caught up, waiting a week for your next post seems like an eternity. Thanks again for all you show us.
Aww, no! Maybe you'll have to start again from episode one 😂
@@FoxesAfloat That would mean I get to laugh at your antics all over again.
Enjoyed the footage inside the pub and food. bring it into your rutine
We don't have a routine - Anyway, pubs are closed 😬
