When I was young watching a bugs bunny cartoon, bugs said “there is no sense worrying because you will never come out alive” I wrote that on a piece of paper and carried it in my wallet for 40 years taking it out once in a while to remind myself not to worry so much. Luckily for me it helped. Take care guys! Love your vlogs. They are relaxing and funny.
Great recommendation for Bickerstaff’s. That’s fantastic service by any standard. The other important point you making about worry is very insightful and yes, theirs no point in dwelling on accidents once you are over the shock. The same applies to Dillon. He was a wonderful companion and character who deserves to be remembered in the best possible way, and will be by your many subscribers as well as yourselves. Very best wishes to both of you and continuing good luck in your future travels.
Much kudos to Bickerstaffe. Fantastic service. It’s nice they look after you like this. And I love your point of view. As I say “Don’t worry about things until you have things to worry about”. Glad you’ve got everything fixed. I also have to say I feel bad for the poor guy with the cruiser. Much kudos to the way he dealt with the situation too. May you find things are less fretful Colin & Shaun. Stay safe & well. Sally.
A tribute to the strength and positive design of Silver Fox that the damage was limited to the window. You have to admire the dedication of your repair guy, Ryan, to have you on the way in so little time. Colin, you are absolutely right that worrying about what you can’t control is a waste of time and energy. Poop happens whether you worry about it or not. Life passes you by if you’re hiding from it. Glad you are good and if bad things come in threes (Fracture, Dylan’s passing and Cruiser Crunch) you’re due for a period of pure bliss including your new venture. Be well.....don’t worry be happy.....🇨🇦Chris
Bickerstaff Boats are obviously a top notch Company. They will only be enhancing their reputation by providing such excellent product support. Hats off. I'm rapt to see you being more settled and philosophical Colin. Take care.
What great service from Ryan. Above and beyond! And totally relate to your comments about worrying. At the end of the day it doesn’t help. But it’s not always easy to just stop worrying about things. I would probably worry if I didn’t have something to worry about! Take care and safe travels 😊
I liked your thoughts on worry. I'm worrying myself sick about my daughter who had a stroke at the time you lost Dillon. You're right worry doesn't help. It only made me unable to cope. Getting stronger and my daughter is still in hospital learning to walk etc. Thanks as always for sharing .
It was really awesome of the people from Becker staff that they sent someone down to fix your window that quickly! That’s what I call people standing behind their product and what great customer service! I’m glad everyone was OK and that no one was hurt in the incident. Once again I love your vlogs. Keep up the great work. I’m looking forward to the modern narrow boat build!
Colin: Your reflections (as the one on the Clomp) are sooo well worth listening to. In my experience You can worry really much, but everything always turn out good in the end. So why worry? You were rescued by a good man and the Silver Fox is ok. So, go on, both of You. Have a really fine summer. What is left of it.
So very glad no one was seriously injured and as you say, the couple on the other boat turned out to be genuinely nice people . . . stuff happens right. So very nice of Ryan to drive up from so far away to expertly fix your boat and as good fortune would have it, the window replacement was in stock. The scenery around Wittenham Clump was stunning and as always, who doesn't love . . . Foxes Afloat drone footage. The weather and the natural beauty of England never fails to impress, relax and inspire us. Thanks so much for this one Colin and Shaun, it truly is a breath of some very fresh air. You guy's take good care . . .
Thanks for gentle wise words Colin 🙂 What an experience! Terrific support from Bickerstaffe yard. Great to see you both so chilled and happy again. This life really suits you guys. We’re all looking forward to Foxy two. It’s going to be amazing 🌟. Joan
Being a cancer survivor myself, I've learned that unless something is on fire, a bone is sticking out or someone is gushing blood, everything else can be repaired or replaced. Even most of those can be repaired. Life finds a way and we need to adapt and be willing to change with it.
You certainly can't fault that kind of service from Bickerstaffe (and Ryan). Glad you guys are (hopefully) coming out of a sad and very stressful period. Here's to many many more good times and making loads of great new memories. I'll certainly be here watching and wishing you good fortunes along the way :)
Good to see you two are alright. Fantastic customer service from Bickerstaffe. You have to look for the positives in every situation and this shows just how far Bickerstaffe will go to support their customers. Outstanding! 👍👍👍👍
Sorry to see your traumatic damage - glad no-one was badly hurt........ and what amazing service from the builder! As far as anxiety goes, you’re so right, it’s a pointless pursuit borrowing tomorrow’s trouble.... but you can’t help it if you’re anxious........ stay well, stay calm, keep the vlogs coming - your cheerful updates are a real tonic. Virtual hugs until such time as lockdown allows physical ones xx
stumbled across your channel and now can't stop watching. You guys are hilarious and Colin's chat about worrying at the top of the hill was inspired. Keep doing what you do
Thanks guys for another great vlog, well done to Ryan and Bickerstaff for going above and beyond to replace the galley window and luckily you both weren't in the galley when the boat came through it. Keep on sailing along with a smile on your faces as usual. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I really look forward to your next episode. So glad you are safe after that crash and words cannot express how I feel about Dillon. Just been laid off after 25 years. Watching your adventures is helping deal with my anxiety. Thanks again.
I'm sorry for the unexpected damage to Silver Fox, but if I ever have a narrowboat built it'll surely be built by Bickerstaff! I don't know if you receive special attention from them because of the reach of your vlogs, but this incident certainly speaks well of their level of customer service. Well done, Bickerstaff!
When I saw your social media posts I was so shocked and also amazingly glad you're ok. I didn't want to 'like' this video because I hate the idea of your home being hit (and to think of Kev and his guys knowing their baby was involved in an accident), but I always will like them for your YT data stream. Thanks as always for sharing the hard parts of boating along with the fun parts; even in this case, I think it's great to see how supportive the community of friends you've made is. Bickerstaffe isn't just a name on a boat; this is family support right here. I'm so impressed with that whole group. Warms the heart. Stay safe and have great cruising weather! And go easy on that leg, Colin!
The service you received from Bickerstaff was outstanding. To think that Ryan drove that far that late is unbelievable. They made a horrible situation tolerable, if that’s even possible. Glad to know you are both okay and that you haven’t lost your sense of humor. I love that you share your feelings with us.
All my life I've been a worrier. My adopted mom would say, "think of the worst thing that could happen & if something better happens, then you'll be happy ". Well I think that's why I've always worried so much!! Then when she was old she told me that she spent too much time worrying!!! Sorry about losing Dillon. So sad to lose him. They become part of the family. Good to hear how you are handling it. And now you have Otis! Best of luck to you two. I enjoy watching your vlogs and am catching up on all the previous ones. ❤️
You guys handled that situation very well. Well done. I am glad both of you are OK. There are many more experiences coming up for you two. Sail on and look out for each other.
Points to Bickerstaffe, love the way they look after you - excellent service. All I can say is your life has its moments and you make the most of them good or bad. live every day . Loved the walk and the 'clump' - wasn't that on Time team at some stage?? Carry on Cruising and looking forward to wherever we are heading :)
I just realized that listening to you helps me. I am very high functioning Autistic man. I am unable to take medication due to my line of work. I did try using one but the side effects weren't good. You talking about worrying hit home. I am worried about many things and had a talk with my wife over the phone about it. Due to where I work and COVID, I have not been able to go home in 12 months. Now I am worried about changing jobs and not have the peace of mind that I do now. So much more I worry about as well. I listen and watch your videos while I work. Thank you.
Watching your vlog is like a salve. Im going through some stuff, and your program really relaxes me, even the ones where bad stuff happens. I'm recommending your vlog to many of my friends. Thanks very much for what you do.
Your words on worry were spot on. Worry can cause dreadful harm to us, and almost never helps. Taken properly, it can help you to be prepared for future events.
Thumbs up for Ryan for the awesomely great First Class service from Bickerstaffe Boat Builders, Thank God, either of you weren't making a cuppa at the time, prayin for smoother cruisin from here on , stay safe guys. 😉😎🤞🙏👌
Just watched this (a year late) and thought again what a lovely boat you have, and how you are such a nice couple. You are right, worrying about things before they happen only makes you stressed, worrying after they have happened is a waste of time as the milk has been spilt. Life is too short to waste by stressing and ignoring the opportunity to enjoy the moment. You have a great life together, and your comments about mental health challenges must be really helpful to those who are experiencing similar issues. We have a choice in whether to laugh or cry, choose wisely.
Well done, gentlemen. Glad you came through unscathed, and thank you for the words of wisdom. Virtual high-five to Ryan, and also to Bickerstaff. That's some serious service.
Thank goodness no one sustained serious injuries. Ryan , you area legend ⭐️⭐️! Hope you have both settled your nerves - no doubt a huge shock. My dad used to say, don’t worry about things you can’t fix. Best wishes to you both. 😃👌👏👏❤️❤️
Absolutely love you guys. You really made my day today. Not because your narrowboat was crashed into of course, but long day at work. You two have the best attitudes and sense of humor. You can tell you really love and respect one another. Anyway, hello from Illinois where we are still on partial lockdown and we have a long ways to go. We have a canal about 20 minutes away with tow paths and old buildings that used to make the cement when they were creating the canal. No narrow boats though. Thank you so much for letting me watch all your adventures. Sorry for going on but I had to have a Titos and lemonade. Cheers to you two!! Love ya!!
The mini monologue you gave towards the end really helped, thank you. I have never commented before but felt the need to now so although I sit here silently I appreciate your videos beyond measure and thank you for letting us follow your journey and please keep up all the hard work because even though a lot of us are silent we really do appreciate everything the both of you do.
Glad to see you guys are alright. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Dillan. I just started watching your videos a few days ago, and have been enjoying your humour and how you two get along together. You clearly have a boatload of love. I've also enjoyed the scenery and hearing about the history during your travels. RIP Dillan.
Wow, glass everywhere. Hope you have an industrial-strength Hoover! I'm also amazed at the quality of the zoom lens on your camera - to not only zoom in on Shaun from that distance, but also determine the brand name of his trousers :) Amazing! And hats off to Ryan and Bickerstaffe!!!!
Wow !! A horrendous thing to happen, a boat in your boat ... OMG but as you said Colin, it's fixed and you just laugh about it, you have to, if you didn't then you'd cry and that's no good. Brave guys you two and three cheers for Ryan, what a guy for going all that way in the middle of the night, a real star. If I ever have a boat built rather than using my old heap then Bickerstaff will be the place I'll go.
Recently found your channel. Thank you for taking the time to assemble the footage and to then edit these pieces together; it's an enormous amount of work. And thank you for the commentary and the window into your thoughts and your life together. In these times, especially in the States, you bring a respite of Hope and Love into your viewers' lives. Again, thank you. -C
I am super trady to this party, but I’m glad I stubbles upon your Vlog. I grew up in a small town that was once on a canal line here is the US. Your Vlog reminds me of my childhood dream of living on a canal boat. Sadly there’s not a lot of canals left in here in the States. So I get to live vicariously through you guys. Hugs to both of you!
Wow, what great service. Window gets damaged, and less than 24hrs, guy is there to repair with new window. Just remember the song Colin, Always look on the bright side of life.
To come all the way to you at 2 am to just stick some bin bags on is impressive. They obviously do everything for there customers even the most basic an simplest of jobs. Well done Ryan
I'm so glad you two are okay. How terrifying! Collin, I think your ability to reflect on three very emotionally charged events with such ease and wisdom shows a strong mental state. 💚
@@douglascolman4501 hi Douglas yes I love Australia great country, I have family in Victoria and been over 3 times now. I’m shocked at how expensive Australia has become over the last few years. House prices and things like eating out is extortionate. I remember going first time way back in 2000 and everything was dirt cheap but now it’s the opposite😩😂
Even with all that happened, you guys are my hero's. I wish I had the courage to just sell out, buy a narrowboat and live life at 2mph. Enjoy it for all the rest of us....Beautiful boat, beautiful people!!! XOXO
Great vlog again guys...glad you are both ok ...must of been one heck of a fright being joined by a cruiser in the galley... keep up the great work... Friday's wouldn't be the same without your adventures and Shaun's chuckles...
Listen lads, take it from a really OLD guy that has survived a LOT..... 90% of the stuff we worry about could never happen, and the other 10% you can't do anything about anyway! Live with that upper most in your mindset and life will be great for you. Happy travels mates.
Aww Colin loved listening to you talking about your worries sitting up on the hill...... you said you were heartbroken over Dillon still.... I am too it still makes me so sad... for you of course it hurts but time will ease that .... your memories are forever of him... so angry too someone damaged your boat but your managing to laugh about it and Ryan will do a wonderful job no doubt..... lovely seeing you both again.... lots of love 💕 xxxxx
You actually got lucky on this damage. Well lucky in a way. The cruiser could have hit the metal either side of the window and caused major metal damage. So I a way with the only damage being contained to just the window glass you got a little lucky. I’m glad you’re both ok and that silver fox is repaired with a minimum of fuss.
Goodness me! That’s a bit of a shock but amazing service from Ryan @ Bickerstaffe! I completely get what you said about worrying “who of you by worrying can add a single hour to their life” it’s easy in theory but in practice it’s much harder as worrying is natural. I was really sorry to hear about Dillon, he was a great dog! I’m looking forward to seeing the next step of your adventures with Otis,
I missed the vlog where you lost Dylan but I wont look for it as it would upset me. Kind of upset Silver got damaged but at the end of the day, Both of you are more important than a narrowboat-much as she's a beauty. I'm glad both of you are okay and I'm sending you both condolences for the loss of Dylan. Regards Kenny
I was also shocked to hear about Dylan but curiosity won't let me avoid looking for it now. That was a year ago but I bet the good memories are still there.
Ryan's a hero, what a great company. I love the Thames, moored at Windsor for a few years, now at Cowley on the GU. Take care and cant wait to see the new boat
What a great vlog... funny comic's you are!!!, Beautiful footage of the Thames, and the pesky creatures!! (As a motorhomer I fully understand) Then the story of the crash, very very well told, but with an underlying tragedy that could have happened,(so pleased you both safe).. the repair guy was awesome to come down and sort!!.. The philosophy of Colin's hill chat hit a nerve, regards to worrying...so true, and when you mentioned our recent loss, I was off Man, tears kept Rollin!!!! You two are amazing, please keep well and stay safe 🙏..& thanks for this particular vlog, so well put together.. Best wishes Wayne
So glad your both ok and the boat is repaired, we had exactly the same incident two years ago when a hire boat came through the forward cabin window it really does shake you up. Great vlog as always stay safe boys x
ive only found this channel a few weeks back after falling into the idea of moving onto a narrowboat :/ but i love these lads, im watching all the old videos, "i felt like taking my clothes off and walking in" hahaha this pair is amazing im laughing every few seconds haha. love you guys hope all is well!
You should definitely do it don't wait too long . As I've gotten older ... oh the things I wish I'd done . Go for it and Live Your Life . These two guys are great . Good luck and Best Wishes to you .
Only 2nd visit to your channel and you have managed to have me in fits of laughter you are both wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your life. Hugs. 😊😊😊😊🐱🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I am home sick this week and waiting for PCR (COVID test) to come back. So, what does one do besides sleep and read in between each breath and hacks? Binge Watch Foxes Afloat ☮️ & ❤️
Well guys, a very stressfull dat at work for me, but I come home to the Friday Vlog and you help me get it all into perspective. Thanks Colin, your little soliloquy about worrying was EXACTLY what I neededed. Perfect. Thanks. Delighted Silver Fox is pristine again.... See you next week.
Wow, from disaster to new in a day. Amazing. So glad you were not seriously injured. Great Attitude takes a lot of discipline. You made it look easy. You are both such wonderful examples of human nature at its best. Even in hard times your perseverance and outlook is encouraging. Thank you.
Interesting. I too spend too much time worrying about what might happen. Hmm. Maybe I’ll stop worrying and just get on with it. The reality is rarely worse than the imagining. Thanks for the observation
Hey guys I love your channel I like the history your country has I do wish we could see inside of some of the places you have shown us but Im sure it costs alot to go inside I live in anniston Alabama we dont have alot of 100 or 200 year old stuff around here I would have loved to have lived the way you two do looks so nice thanks for what you do
Colin!!! what a positive way to look at life as i`ve said before you have a good man at your side so there`s nothing that can`t be over come as always best wishes to you both take care guys.
Glad no one was hurt. We all worry and like you said after we can laugh. Strong support system and a sweet dog helps with the stress! Thanks for sharing!!
When I was young watching a bugs bunny cartoon, bugs said “there is no sense worrying because you will never come out alive” I wrote that on a piece of paper and carried it in my wallet for 40 years taking it out once in a while to remind myself not to worry so much. Bring on the bliss! 😛
Your handling and outlook of this ‘incident’ has now made this my favourite Narrowboat TH-cam channel. Well done gents!
Thank you so much! 💜💜💜💜
What superb support from Bickerstaffe. Great content as always guys. Keep safe.

Thanks for gentle wise words Colin 🙂 What an experience! Terrific support from Bickerstaffe yard. Great to see you both so chilled and happy again. This life really suits you guys. We’re all looking forward to Foxy two. It’s going to be amazing 🌟. Joan
Thanks 👍 Hopefully it will be!
I'm impressed with the level of service you get from Bickerstaffe. That in itself is a great endorsement for the company.

John, thank you for your comment. I am fighting cancer and it sure changes ones priorities ...
Many Blessings to you

You certainly can't fault that kind of service from Bickerstaffe (and Ryan). Glad you guys are (hopefully) coming out of a sad and very stressful period. Here's to many many more good times and making loads of great new memories. I'll certainly be here watching and wishing you good fortunes along the way :)

I found your channel on accident one night down a rabbit hole and I'm so glad I did. You two are just lovely.
Awww, thank you so much!
stumbled across your channel and now can't stop watching. You guys are hilarious and Colin's chat about worrying at the top of the hill was inspired. Keep doing what you do
Welcome to the madness, David xx
Bickerstaff boats are absolute legends. What a team keep safe boys.

Thanks guys for another great vlog, well done to Ryan and Bickerstaff for going above and beyond to replace the galley window and luckily you both weren't in the galley when the boat came through it. Keep on sailing along with a smile on your faces as usual. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Absolutely! Been a mad week but the legends saved the day!

Our pleasure, Glynis 👍🏻
Thanks for that chat at the top of the hill about why worry, it was really helpful. Glad you guys and the boat survived the bash.
Thank you, Raymond xx
Words of wisdom at the end Colin, hope rest of the bulkhead structure is OK. Great window repair and service.
All is good, John 👍🏻

I don't know if you receive special attention from them because of the reach of your vlogs, but this incident certainly speaks well of their level of customer service. Well done, Bickerstaff!
No, they do the same for ALL their boats (family / fambobs)
When I saw your social media posts I was so shocked and also amazingly glad you're ok. Thanks, Sean. Yeah, ALWAYS click like 😂 The leg's massively improved. Almost back to normal but still taking it easy 👍🏻
The service you received from Bickerstaff was outstanding. To think that Ryan drove that far that late is unbelievable. They made a horrible situation tolerable, if that’s even possible. Glad to know you are both okay and that you haven’t lost your sense of humor. I love that you share your feelings with us.

My night,y ritual is watching 2....or more....Vlogs before bed. I call it my Zen time. Thank you for sharing so much of yourselves. 🙏
Thank you so much xxxxxx
Gorgeous view of the wind hover (kestrel). Glad everything turned out ok after the mating ritual of two marine vessels. Enjoying all of your vlogs.
Glad you enjoyed it

Thank you so much!
Well done Bickerstaffe, old fashioned service at it's best. It was a miracle that it just took out the galley window. Hope you recover well.
It really was a miracle!
In sitting here with my 88 year old dad who survived covid. Don't ever give up!!!!!
James Friestad
Please give your dad all our love! ❤️❤️❤️
Sending love!
Very insightful Colin. Worry will cause you more grief than the actual circumstance. Perspective, including hindsight, is quite remarkable.
Very true!
It was on Time Team! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We really like it when you give us details of the areas off the canals/rivers and with history. Stay safe guys and steer clear of this yoghurt pots!
Thanks! Will do!
One of your best vlogs yet; you two take on adversity with style. (and Colin, no truer words said at the 15 minute mark)
Thanks so much, Simon 😛
I just realized that listening to you helps me. I am very high functioning Autistic man. I am unable to take medication due to my line of work. I did try using one but the side effects weren't good. You talking about worrying hit home. I am worried about many things and had a talk with my wife over the phone about it. Due to where I work and COVID, I have not been able to go home in 12 months. Now I am worried about changing jobs and not have the peace of mind that I do now. So much more I worry about as well. I listen and watch your videos while I work. Thank you.
It's something we can't help, isn't it? Despite all the advice it just isn't that simple. I hope things work out and that you get home soon 💜
Ryan looks like a lovely bloke. A shout out to him. A good job well done. Especially driving all that way in the middle of the night.
Legend! 💪
Watching your vlog is like a salve. Im going through some stuff, and your program really relaxes me, even the ones where bad stuff happens. I'm recommending your vlog to many of my friends. Thanks very much for what you do.

Listen boys, I have just discovered you. Thank heavens for two people who are NORMAl! You are a fantastically well balanced couple.
Aww, cheers, Liz!
Great words, Jaqui! x
Ryan, from Bickerstaff 👍👍👍. Now that's service!
Legend! 👊🏻
Well done, gentlemen. Glad you came through unscathed, and thank you for the words of wisdom. Virtual high-five to Ryan, and also to Bickerstaff. That's some serious service.
Legends! 💪
Thank goodness no one sustained serious injuries. Ryan , you area legend ⭐️⭐️! Hope you have both settled your nerves - no doubt a huge shock. My dad used to say, don’t worry about things you can’t fix. Best wishes to you both. 😃👌👏👏❤️❤️
He really is a legend! 💪
Love ya!!
Thanks, Michelle! x
Love all the historic facts and you both wake up so clean shaven!
😉
The mini monologue you gave towards the end really helped, thank you. I have never commented before but felt the need to now so although I sit here silently I appreciate your videos beyond measure and thank you for letting us follow your journey and please keep up all the hard work because even though a lot of us are silent we really do appreciate everything the both of you do.
You're very welcome! 💜
RIP Dillan.
Thanks, Wayne and WELCOME! 👍🏻💜😛
Haha! Yeah, good zooming! Bickerstaffe are legends! 💪
Cheers, Keith 👍🏻👍🏻
I am binge watching you guys. You bring such joy.
Hope you're having fun x
Recently found your channel. Thank you for taking the time to assemble the footage and to then edit these pieces together; it's an enormous amount of work. And thank you for the commentary and the window into your thoughts and your life together. In these times, especially in the States, you bring a respite of Hope and Love into your viewers' lives. Again, thank you. -C
You're very welcome!
That is awesome!
Wow, what great service. Window gets damaged, and less than 24hrs, guy is there to repair with new window. Just remember the song Colin, Always look on the bright side of life.
💜
What a legend Ryan was to drive out to fix your boat great service.
He proper is a legend!
To come all the way to you at 2 am to just stick some bin bags on is impressive. They obviously do everything for there customers even the most basic an simplest of jobs. Well done Ryan
Legend! 💪
Omg what a mess! So glad you guys were out of harm’s way! 😳😳😳 Ryan is so lovely ☺️
Cheers 👍🏻
I'm so glad you two are okay. How terrifying! Collin, I think your ability to reflect on three very emotionally charged events with such ease and wisdom shows a strong mental state. 💚
Thanks, Vee!
I love your words on worrying 😊 Thanks for an entertaining video!
You are so welcome!
Cake. Cake and pies. That's always a good way to move on. That and tea, and maybe a beer. Take care lads.
Thanks, David. Always makes things better 😛
I thought you handled it well, grace and dignity. Ryan is a good guy, does good work. Sorry about your boat, can't tell it was damaged
Yeah, he's a legend!
Even with all that happened, you guys are my hero's. I wish I had the courage to just sell out, buy a narrowboat and live life at 2mph. Enjoy it for all the rest of us....Beautiful boat, beautiful people!!! XOXO
Thank you so much!
Amazing service from the guys at Bickerstaff. I'll start checking TH-cam to see who got a new boat minus a window.
Haha!
Great vlog again guys...glad you are both ok ...must of been one heck of a fright being joined by a cruiser in the galley... keep up the great work... Friday's wouldn't be the same without your adventures and Shaun's chuckles...
Jumped out of our skin! 🤯
Bless you. You have a great way of making things a lot better. Thanks for the great advice.🇦🇺 😃
You are so welcome
Great question, we all worry to much and yes it is easier said then done.
It really is!
Listen lads, take it from a really OLD guy that has survived a LOT..... 90% of the stuff we worry about could never happen, and the other 10% you can't do anything about anyway! Live with that upper most in your mindset and life will be great for you. Happy travels mates.
💜
Aww Colin loved listening to you talking about your worries sitting up on the hill...... you said you were heartbroken over Dillon still.... I am too it still makes me so sad... for you of course it hurts but time will ease that .... your memories are forever of him... so angry too someone damaged your boat but your managing to laugh about it and Ryan will do a wonderful job no doubt..... lovely seeing you both again.... lots of love 💕 xxxxx
He did an amazing job, as he always does. 💜
I’m a chronic worrier too. Thanks for the words of wisdom. Glad you two are safe. Sending love from California, USA. 😘
Thank you! You too!
I understand what you mean but lucky is a bit misleading a way to describe it 😂 More like a miracle
I’m looking forward to seeing the next step of your adventures with Otis,
Thanks so much!
Thanks Kenny!
Ryan's a legend! 💪
Best wishes
Wayne
Cheers, Wayne!
I miss seeing Dillon..so sorry for your loss.
Us too. We miss him every single day 💜
Very impressed with your boat builder to come right out and take care of it glad it was only a window very glad that you guys did not get Hurt👍
Thanks 👍
At 70 I can tell you I wish I had the time back I spent worrying. So.glad you are both ok.
Hindsight is a miracle that should be sold at the supermarket 👍🏻😂
Wise words about worrying, Colin :) One line changed my approach to incessant worrying: “Worrying is like planning ahead.” A very worrying quote!
So true!
So glad your both ok and the boat is repaired, we had exactly the same incident two years ago when a hire boat came through the forward cabin window it really does shake you up. Great vlog as always stay safe boys x
It was so traumatic! 🤯
Colin your so right, no sense in worrying about it. Live life and let go!! Love you guys
👍🏻👍🏻💜💜
@@FoxesAfloat I've read that over 90% of the things we worry about never happen. Great session for the world Colin. Thanks
ive only found this channel a few weeks back after falling into the idea of moving onto a narrowboat :/ but i love these lads, im watching all the old videos, "i felt like taking my clothes off and walking in" hahaha this pair is amazing im laughing every few seconds haha. love you guys hope all is well!
Welcome aboard! Glad to see you're enjoying the journey and the laughs 👍🏻🤣💜
You should definitely do it don't wait too long . As I've gotten older ... oh the things I wish I'd done . Go for it and Live Your Life . These two guys are great . Good luck and Best Wishes to you .
I spat out a mouthful of a cup of tea when you zoomed into the boat to see Shawn waving his pants
Tadaa!
Even when things are not going your way you fellas always have a laugh about it the positivity from you both is contagious
Cheers, Kev. Got to keep moving on!
I really love your videos----funny, but so thoughtful too. Thanks for talking about worrying---so glad the two of you are safe and ok. Safe travels!!
He's such the philosopher at times!
Thank you so much!
🤯
Only 2nd visit to your channel and you have managed to have me in fits of laughter you are both wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your life. Hugs. 😊😊😊😊🐱🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Welcome aboard!
I am home sick this week and waiting for PCR (COVID test) to come back. So, what does one do besides sleep and read in between each breath and hacks?
Binge Watch Foxes Afloat ☮️ & ❤️
Awesome. Hope you're ok xx
You are right about worrying Colin, but sigh I am an overthinker! Wish I wasnt.... love you two
Aww, thank you!
Our pleasure!
Wow, from disaster to new in a day. Amazing. So glad you were not seriously injured. Great Attitude takes a lot of discipline. You made it look easy. You are both such wonderful examples of human nature at its best. Even in hard times your perseverance and outlook is encouraging. Thank you.
Aww, thanks, Cheryl! xx
Interesting. I too spend too much time worrying about what might happen. Hmm. Maybe I’ll stop worrying and just get on with it. The reality is rarely worse than the imagining. Thanks for the observation
Hope you can x
Hey guys I love your channel I like the history your country has I do wish we could see inside of some of the places you have shown us but Im sure it costs alot to go inside I live in anniston Alabama we dont have alot of 100 or 200 year old stuff around here I would have loved to have lived the way you two do looks so nice thanks for what you do
Our pleasure, Michael!
