Had a Mk3 a few years back, and I regret selling it. This new thing? BAD FORD. NO! NONONONO. That is not a Capri. That is an insult to the name. I like EVs, hell, we have one (Kia EV6), so no issue with EVs whatsoever. But sullying the name with yet another f-ing urban assault vehicle. Ugh.
This new car from Ford is everything the original Ford Capri was not.......tall, 4 doors, boring and ugly. Why did Ford use (waste) the legends name on this totally forgettable thing?
The difference is you can still buy a real V8 mustang, Ford haven't replaced it. The Capri has been out of production since 1986 and they just made another generic ugly electric SUV and call it a Capri.
As someone who grew up with Fords from the 1960s and 70s, this is an atrocity.
