Look at the inflection point of the usage of the terms "racism, white guilt, white privilege, white fragility, DEI" in mainstream media (NYT, WP, WSJ, LAT). It happened around 2010-2012. What else happened in that period? Occupy Wall St and the Arab Spring. People across the world were uniting against the corrupt owners of the world's wealth and their bought and paid for government officials. That hit too close to home. The media (owned and controlled by these same people) immediately pivoted to radical race and gender ideology discussions to pit us against each other, rather than directing anger and questions at those in power. It's literally just a media led mass re-direction of working class anger, and they're looting us while we're all distracted.
Honestly the only way to affect real change is the start with your local elections and make sure people in your community represent you have good values and also want to stimulate your local economy, also have to get involved with the school board because they're the ones that push the agenda to your children. That's what everyday citizens can affect
