I have to say this about Maiasaura; most dinosaurs were actually good parents that would raise their young, the only reason why Maiasaura was named that was because it was one of the few fossils at the time that showed parenting and care towards young, Maiasaura was actually thought for a time to be the only dinosaur to care for its young. We now know that in fact most dinosaurs would raise their offspring.
I'm thinking you could do dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 2 and have parts if there are too much just so you don't have inaccuracies to run out of. :D
I think modern. This also omits the fact that the book stated that the Jurassic park dinosaurs weren’t real dinosaurs and were genetically modified mutant monsters
Another series you could look into the the Ark series. The games Ark survival evolved and its remaster/remake Ark survival ascended, and the new Tv series based on them.
Keep in mind the book openly states at the end that the animals in Jurassic park are NOT actual dinosaurs. They are genetically mutated monsters. They’re mutants that RESEMBLE known dinosaurs and have mostly dinosaur dna but also have significant frog and modern reptile dna patched in. So the book actually creates a reason for at least some of the inaccuracies. You can chalk the rest up to Criton’s imagination and scientific inaccuracies of the time
technically, there are two species of "velociraptor" in the novel
the one grant digs up, and the one in the park

The Velociraptors in the novel are described more like they were deinonychus than what they are. Why couldn't they go with deinonychus?
Are we talking accuracy for what we knew at the time, or accuracy for modern knowledge? Because those are two very different things.

That would have to be in multiple parts. Ark has an absurd amount of dinosaurs and animals (over 400)
Awesome and underrated video.
