9:48 I’m pretty sure this one is an illustration of a (ridiculous) theory that in the Mesozoic, the sun didn’t exist yet, so it was almost pure darkness
3:27 & 7:45 Hey now, that's Frank Frazetta's art, you better lay some derned respect on that name! :P In all seriousness, Fritz wasn't a palaeoartist himself, he mostly did fantasy illustrations & comic art, so his dinosaurs are mostly informed by the media of the time rather than the science. Even so, he often imbued some surprisingly subversive depictions of dinosaurs being more dynamic than the sluggish tripod monsters others were doing, like his work on the Tarzan & Thun'Da comics. Worth checking out for period dinosaur pieces.
5:10: Tylosaurus is a mosasaur, not an ichyosaur. Tylosaurus battling Elasmosaurus seemed to be a staple of palaeoart when i was younger, along with Tyrannosaurus vs Triceratops, and Dimetradon vs Eryops.
10:12: The Iguanadon is winning because it took the Mososaurus by surprise. The Mososaurus got complacent, foolishly assuming that it would never get attacked in its own environment by a terrestrial herbivore, and now it's paying the price.
1:10 I used to have that entire series of books with those bizarre drawings and I loved them, they made me think of like the bags of strange looking plastic dinosaurs you used to find in dollar stores but as paintings
I think the dinosaur shown here 11:50 is a hadrosaur because their beaks were depicted as duck like often in paleoart, now which hadrosaur specifically... I'm not sure because it's neck is elongated like a plesiosaur for some reason
The depiction of the crest/s on the possible Dilophosaurus at 8:51 kinda make it look like it's wearing a hard hat. Made from a giant turtle shell. Reduce, reuse, recycle! Who knew dinos were so environmentally minded?

FYI: Tylosaurus is NOT an Ichthyosaur, it's a Mosasaur.
Also, that bird at the end kind of looks like a carnivorous Dodo.
I think it might be a kelenken fighting a atepodenatus

In summer I've been to Crystal Palace Park to see the OG dinosaur reconstructions. It was heartbreaking to see the sorry state they're in.
Sad to hear :(
As someone who had crows bring me dead birds i kno the feeling.

7:30 that's just an abstract art piece of a Ceratosaurus.
Run from a chicken and see how fast it can "hobble" 1:03
It's good you're recovering
8:00 Frank Frazetta, I think.
7:29 god i love how this one looks , so damn cool .
Is it accurate ? No , but its damn cool .

Dinosaur identification service here, presenting you:
11:50 Trachodon (now Anatosaurus) attacking Diatryma (now Gastornis)
Yay! Happy new year!
Oi, Tylosaurus was a Mosasaur not an Icthyosaur
Also, Pokémon but dinosaurs? You mean Fossil Fighters?
Since when did turtles eat squid?
There was/is Jurassic Park "pokemon" game for mobile. It was essentially a copy of pokemon go. Iirc it had pvp before pokemon go.
It's a... plesioplatypus?
72 views in 2hours?!?! I can never get that 😕
7:32 It’s supposed to be Ceratosaurus. 9:33 Most sauropods most likely held their necks up. 11:52 It is a dinosaur because all birds are dinosaurs.
There IS a Pokemon like game with dinosaurs - Jurassic World Alive
