The fear isn't exactly unfounded. Colonialism was brutal, Europeans treated Africans the same way Nazis treated jews except worse because it lasted centuries and is still happening. Not to mention most of the nuclear powers in the world are those former colonizers, I don't know how realistic it is for them to even think about threatening to use nukes against Africa but I wouldn't put it past them.
Why would they use nukes? They would single-handedly destroy the natural resources they want so badly. The world is changing and moving away from the west.

I am African American, but I have very little desire to visit the continent. I love to travel, but I hate hassle when I travel.I enjoy traveling to Latin American because I can travel hassel-free. The same thing with Europe. Africa is too complicated that I have been totally turned off by traveling to the continent.
