      in his statement he was representing a lot of countries that can survive without the peanuts that these countries get as donations.
      he was supposed to just tell them off that from now on they aught to buy everything from us going by the price we want to sale at.

    Mr President, your speech touched on critical and urgent matters. However, when something of this magnitude is driven by France, a country that is still a colonial power to 14 West African countries to this day 24 June 2023 leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. BRICS+ is rising and the de-dollarisation drive happening all over the world is a huge threat to the Bretton Woods establishment where Europe and America are major beneficiaries. So, a conference such as this makes me wonder why all of a sudden there's a new Global Financial Pact. Why all of a sudden.
    This sounds a lot like Bretton Woods 3.0 to me. (2.0 was the Petro-dollar in 1971). I don't believe that the West has the best interest of the Global South at heart (especially Africa). I believe we are better off in focusing on BRICS Development Bank and as Africans let's unite and create an all-Africa Continental Currency for trade at least within the African Continent. The Capital you are asking for of $100 billion per year where do you think it's going to come from? America can create $5 trillion dollars in an instant to bail out their banks (2008-2009) and the repo Market (Sep 2019 to Mar 2020). Why must we as Africans borrow currency from these institutions. Why can't we create currency for our own infrastructure development that would be backed up by Gold, Oil and other minerals from various African nations. Why do we insist on making loans that come at a huge cost and bring a financial burden to generations of Africans.
    For now, yes, due to lack of Financial Institutions in Africa, I understand a loan temporarily for infrastructure such as the Dam and Electricity grids is necessary because of the urgency but we definitely have to set up our own Financial Institutions that will fund our own infrastructure. Let us not expose ourselves and our children to debt slavery to countries that can create currency by the trillions in a snap of a finger.
    thanks

    I just hope South Africans are listening and observing the credentuals of this man! EFF are very good in civil wars! They won’t make it in international arena! This i will say for as long as i live! Experience matter! Chose your words wisely! I THINK THE EFF are looking how constructive the president is AND PLEASE WHEN HE COME HOME GIVE HIM FHE RESPECT HE DESERVE! A standing ovartion a red carpet!
    Parliament is A RESPECTABLE PLACE of constructive critism giving each other a chance to talk! Not A POINT OF ORDER I AM RISING ON Point 14 of Artucle so and so! That we hear of every Paliamentary session coming from one source only EFF just to disrupt and destabilize peace! EFF we have 365 days in a year! You will have your turn to make a point, just be calm, cool and collected! Give a speaker a chance to exercise his/her duty! There us nk hurry in South Africa! Remember that acronym ?

    • @skylionskylion7882
      @skylionskylion7882 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately your comments are driven by Political obsessions, the fact that you managed to finally think about the Eff in your your comment with regard to Pre Ramaphosa's address, it's mainly caused by the fact and the political reality that You see the Eff for what it is, you couldn't talk about DA or any other party, it means you choose to ignore how mighty and great the Eff is, to a point that you compare it with the ruling party, you end up exposing your ignorance of being unable to differentiate the ruling party and the opposition, what do you expect the opposition to act like?? The anc as the ruling party will not act the same if it becomes an opposition, it is therefore the job of the opposition to oppose the Government with regard to corruption and maladministration. If eff becomes government and anc becomes opposition , the anc will be worse than the eff with radical approach when opposing certain matters

    • @benmotsumi5748
      @benmotsumi5748 ปีที่แล้ว

      you're damn correct, i didn't include the DA as the main oposition for the obvious fact that they didn't disrupt the process of governing! They didn't ! The EFF exhibited cowardice ! If they have given President Ramaphosa a chance to talk and exercise his duty, it would have been wise! But they chose arrogance over dignity and respect! What did ANC do with the Nationalist government or National Party? They drove them to negotiations, CODESA was the term coined by ANC, Truth and reconciliation is the term coined by ANC, RDP is the brainchild of The mighty African National Congress the list goes on and on and on! COOL HEADED and COGITATION and use of BRAIN is what ANC is . The world saw that in President Ramaphosa! Someone who negotiated right through his political career! That is what African leadership comprises of!! The other African states men listen attentively with eagerness! Mr Ramaphosa coordinated what he spoke to Russia and Ukraine with what he is telling the western leaders! Have you ever seen someone with such skills? He brought in the reformation of international currency, and look how at the same time he allayed the anxiety of the other western presidents by saying don’t worry the currency issues will be on the next agenda and he further set that agenda by saying what he and the Egyptian president Sisi have been discussing, the trans Africa rail from Cape to Cairo. Do you know what this means? Let me give you my answer for I have plenty of answers NOT POLITICAL OBSESSION as you said! It means movement of goods to facilitate trade!
      Do you want my point of view to what Mr Ramaphosa is embarking upon? This is his ultimate aim! He want to quickly open talks regarding puting’s attendance of the BRICS summit, this is diplomatic manoeuvre! BUT I am not the fan of such sentiments! I just tell you what I already see him doing! My wish is that Mr Gutierrez UN General Secretary totally rejects that! To rubber stamp the image and credibility of international organisations
      I don’t know if you noticed that the president respect the international organisations? He spoke of multi literalism and relevant institutions there! So in this regard my point to you is this: The Western world will roll out the next century’s political system as it has done before! Communism has no place in this and the following generation! Puting and Shi Jimping are dictators they have demonstrated that by changing their country’s constitution! Let me send to you what Puting has done to his own people, maybe you will see why I say ICC’s warrant of his arrest must be stayed!www.thesun.co.uk/news/21658269/putin-killing-russian-elite-mob-boss/
