Shell Island In North Wales A Look Around With Gilly The Collie May 2019

During May this year we stayed in North Wales for another fabulous two weeks. Shell Island has always been one of our not to miss days out. It is located about a mile from Llanbedr and has stunning views of the Welsh country side, including Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia National Park. Shell Island is one of Europe's largest campsites and has facilities such as shops a bar and a restaurant. There is and entrance fee for a day visit of £7.50, in our opinion this is well worth the money. You can while away the hours just walking along the beaches or the extensive paths around the site......

Chris and I have booked another two weeks for next week and hope to spend more time on the Lleyn Peninsular and Anglesey. Cheers Pete
