Lamborghini Sesto Elemento £2.3m Hypercar - First time in London

- The day the Shmee150 Facebook page reached a giant 20,000 fans ( / shmee150 ) just so happened to coincide with the arrival of a rather special car in London, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.
The Sesto Elemento (or 6th Element) was introduced at the 2010 Paris Motorshow as a track going weapon weighing in at just 999kg. It's thought that a total of 20 could be built with a price tag in the €2 million region.
The car arrived here where it will be on show in the Lamborghini London dealership in South Kensington, London however it's behind closed doors to the public so it was fantastic to not only see the car again in person but at home.
A lot of questions have been asked as to why the car is not started, the explanation is that it had just arrived at London Heathrow from Saudi Arabia. For transit, vehicles must be emptied of fuel and therefore on arrival it would need to be connected to a race pump to re-fuel and there was no time/access to one available, hence the engine could not be run sadly for me filming this!
A lot of elements of the Sesto Elemento helped in the development of the new £3.1m Veneno.

The car is indeed not road-legal as it is missing some features such as airbags. The Sesto elemento in the video is probably just a model, not even a real one, as they don't seem to care a lot about the scraping.

the reason why this car is called sesto elemento is because it has allot of carbon if you actually know what a periodic table is when u see carbon it is the 6th element in that table

Steven Sulley's Interview with Shmee shows the hardwork he put in to see cars like this. Shmee stood on the street for 27 hours in cold December to film this car...
The carbon fibre is incredibly thin, they had to keep it as lightweight as possible to be under 1000kg
I've always wanted to see a Sesto. Shane that only 20 were made and that one of them, was scratched like this!

Seriously, that was naff of them all how they handled that, some had no gloves and finger prints were left and one guy was pulling on the rear spoiler, ffs.

@@_ceilli Spoilers are extremly strong. Shmee once stood on top of the Senna Wing. And it can handel a lot more stress. I dont think that this little amount will brake it. It has to withstand winds over 300 km/h. They are extremely strong.

Most expensive curb scrape ever?
That's explained in the description, but it's basically because you have to empty the tanks when the car is flown and this is shot as it arrives in the UK from Saudi Arabia and not yet been filled up.

+Mr G My thought is because the car is made of like.. 95% carbon fiber, it's not perfectly streamline when opening and closing the doors, hence the squeak.
you would think that a lambo store would be smart enough to have full hydrolic lifts to unload and transport the car inside

That's cool, the car has cup holders on the outside, perfect for standing around looking at the car
Those are not cup holders. They are air vents for the V10 to cool down otherwise it might overheat and stop working.

It has a key but cannot be started as there is no fuel in it and being a race car requires a specific filler system, which you don't find on the streets of London.

Yes exactly and this is a hypercar? you drive in insane speed with this and speeding and yes the car will not only get cracks imagine you in highspeed and hit into something, like it would crack the entire front in my imagination, and yes im not sure about replaceable parts in high cost i guess it possible but not with all lambos and this 2.3 million im not sure hehe ^^
You're right but it's not even street legal so it's adjusted to drive only on racecourses etc. so you won't hit anything.

-It can't be driven on the road.
-There's 3 things in the cabin: The steering wheel, the speedometer, and the seats.
- It can only be driven on certain, Lamborghini approved tracks, because it will damage the car if it isn't.
- A Lamborghini Tech has to be present while you're driving.
- And then there's the $15,000 service check that is mandatory after each time its driven.
All of this for only $3,000,000!? SOUNDS GREAT!!!

Perhaps because the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is not and will never be street legal. This is a race car and on track there should be no speed bumps.
