You need to be using some heavy minefields with large amounts of claymores out front of all the Marine emplacements. If I may ask what do you believe is the difference between Call To Arms and Men of War Assault Squad 2? When I first encountered Call To Arms I mistaken it as Men of War. It looks similar and the ai behaves similarly. Which game would you say has the most intelligent ai and is better for battles?
I’d personally say CTA is far better than AS2 in terms of mechanics and gameplay. There also is far more freedom in the ability to mod CTA and the addition of helicopters makes life far easier when trying to recreate certain things such as phantoms and pelicans from halo. In terms of AI I would assume they’re both loosely just as poor as one another but CTA does have more multiplayer variety with game modes (minus my favorite as2 game mode: frontlines). Overall though I spend majority of my time in the editor over multiplayer and I would say the cta editor is much more friendly for me to make maps and script in. Plus the game has slightly better optimization then as2; however, as2 has lower poly models so that is sort of relative in terms of optimization.
@@DailySimplicity What kind of mods are there for Call To Arms? Men of War Assault Squad 2 has alot of mods that seem to perform pretty well like the Warhammer 40k mod and there are a couple I heard that help with Ai intelligence making them perform alot better like the Robz Realism mod. Does Call To Arms have something the equivalent of that? The Halo mod seem do pretty good for it as the 40k and Star Wars mods for Assault Squad does.
unfortunately no, CTA is certainly lacking on the modding front by a bit. While there is no close comparison for halo mods in AS2, AS2 certainly has a wider variety of mods which if you're okay with exchanging the first person aspect and maybe some better environments then I suggest getting AS2 over CTA. But if you're playing for the multiplayer experience and not just modding in the editor then I would suggest CTA.
@@DailySimplicity Well then hopefully in time there will be mods like that which has been given onto Men of War Assault Squad 2. Call To Arms Ai do seem to perform slightly better from what I seen when it comes to close combat scenarios while in Men of War the Ai bots begin to dumb down awkwardly. Hopfully the bots in Call to Arms can think for themselves and retreat if an area gets too dangerous for them to defend if they have a freedom type of setting.
