I’m 100% sure militia from the US would have atleast civilian level body armor. Seeing as so many people own some here anyways
My favorite episode yet! Really enjoyed the Militia concept and seeing them picking up alien weapons when out of ammo. Felt very Halo in that regard.
Could be interesting to see a Militia contingent turn into sort of a Insurrectionist faction as the Military develops and fully adopts the UNSC tech overtime. Basically making the Innies a separate group from the Military that primarily uses the older tech we see now early on in this series and their allegiance could vary upon circumstances, not necessarily always working with the Military.

The attack on our outpost was unexpected, unfortunate. But there is no need to panic, for this is a time to rejoice. One that all the Covenant should savor. For most of the US is conquered, and nothing, not even the militia can stop us.

The Halo Franchise would seriously benefit from a quality Xcom-style side game. With no apparent immediate plans in the future for another Halo Wars they should seriously look at that kind of game to fill the otherwise lacking 'strategy' genre.
@@jakiru8783 that would be fantastic! and they would make gobs of money off of it considering how lacking the genre is right now (with the mishandling fireaxis has done with Xcom as of late), especially if they add in mod support.
@@aesonkeel6527 True! A good number of fans of Xcom seem to also be fans of Halo so I'm sure that sort of game would be even more popular than the Xcom games which have been lacking as of recent like you said. I'm sure there would be mod support too seeing as how MCC is being handled currently.

I just finished a modded XCOM 2 War of the Chosen campaign that has, Halo 2 and 3 marines, Sangheili through the allies unknown mod on my side using Halo 3/Reach/some 5 armor as the assets, ODST's (both Alpha Nine's style armor, and others), with allied Vipers from X-Com 2 and including Reach and a Covenant weapon pack (it only gives the energy sword, plasma pistol and rifle, wish there were more). Oh and I used the SuperSoldier mod to create the Master Chief pretty accurate, with voice packs. There's a few more additions, including the cusrtomization mods for reach armors.
i'd love for an actual Halo X-COM set in the Covenant war.
@@aesonkeel6527 I love X-COM 2, but from what i've seen of Chimera Squad, that really doesn't look even like X-COM. A mod I got that has playable Vipers (they're very useful for emergency moves with the toongue pull on allies) for XCOM 2 seems to do it better.

I really like the idea of using The Covenant weapons! Its entertaining and realistic lol if I was fighting Aliens and ran outa bullets I'd most certainly pick up* one of their guns hell I'd pick one up even if I wasn't outa ammo!😁👍

XCOM flashbacks
a great vid as always but for militia episodes you could include stranded soldeirs from the start of the conflict and left over law enforcment who evaded the covenant and linked up with the civvies for a more diverse cast and maybe give the civvies scavnged body armour from the start of the conflict aswell
but as i said amazing vid this is just some thoughts i had while watching

@@Anarchy_420 I am from the US lol thats why I'm saying what I'm saying XD And in game aspects its fine (story wise for the game in Dailys case) but realistically, its like saying US vs Convenent today would go well lol It wouldn't, mostly for people without 99.8% military training and firearm treatment and support.

Lol certainly it is true the Covenant aren't keen on surrender, but I'd imagine a Local Militia would be very disinterested in taking prisoners after being invaded and seeing your neighbors killed and your community destroyed...

Unfortunately no due to it having a lot of ported assets from someone else’s mod that you would need to also port to cta in order to use
Why dont you just call an airstrike immediately at the first minute?
Well this episode was about a group of insurgents behind enemy lines and not the main military force, thus they wouldn't have the resources to call in an airstrike.
