In the words of the late Tony Bourdain, "...more food porn please...". I would love a BBQ or rotisserie video. When I was leaving PM in December I saw a new rotisserie place was coming to town from a famous (chain?) out of Playa. You could also hit up the 3 major supermarkets in town. Losers like me are fascinated with that sort of thing here on The Tubes. Heck you could spend an entire series just covering the beach bars.
Pro Tip: when it comes to Italian (and for some odd reason Quintana Roo probably has more Italian jawns than Rome) eateries, hands down you MUST hit up MEM al Mare.

These two were gracious enough to stop and take a picture with us as we ironically ran into them in Puerto Morelos… we’ve been watching their videos for the last month prior to heading there - we are foodies and we are looking to retirement and we’re to end up…thanks for stopping (crazy guy yelling down the street)

There is ALWAYS room for churros... 😁 You both got your Asian food fix as well! We both thought the fish n' chips looked tastiest, followed very closely by the salmon and poached eggs.

It all looked it good but as someone who has lived or spent time time in England, Scotland and Ireland, I'm afraid I will have the bar too high on the Chippies. I prefer la Colonia just because its the"real" Mexico and was the place I stayed my 1st time. Looking forward to returning in 27 days with my seven year old daughter. It will be her first time in Mexico or Latin America but she has traveled back to the motherland that is England. What would be the best bet for a child's picky palate? Btw you got a new subscriber.

@@TheDawnandGregShow Thanks. That neighborhood looks very similar to where I rented too (gated community in like the NW side of town, not far from a roundabout with an OXO) . The host was a guy from Michigan named Rennie (aka Ripper) who runs a Airbnb and sells Kielbasa. Greg looks ex-military so I was wondering if he knew an expat down there that is from New Jersey and had seen action in Panama. Italian decent with a NY accent and a love of cigars. Yeah i got to know all the expats that spend most of their days at Don's.

I just made the CrossFit and MURPH connection. I used to Powerlift and we had some your cult...I mean people in my gym. Just kidding, my cousin used to compete in CrossFit when she was living in Guam. Hey - I just had a culinary epiphany, why not a Pad Thai Taco??? You include generous amount of peanut sauce and I am thinking a pineapple or possibly mango slaw. You guys have my permission to take that back to Moses at Tacos.com but it must be named after me, The Drake!
