This is a wonderful series of videos. I just purchased both the Classics and Legends versions as a result of these play-throughs. The commentary, the mistakes made, and your explanation of your strategies helped me to understand the depth of this game, and the challenges of both the solo and multi-player games. Well done, and thanks!
Thanks for the play through! I only played once yet and I still have a lot to learn. In my game, I picked up mysticism but hated the need to discard 2 cards and possibly losing an action. I then got shrine so I could take an unrest from Mysticism and then discard it and put it back in the unrest pile with Shrine. I think it’s a good move when not close to collapse.
oh wow, I think that's the first time I've seen you come on camera during these playthroughs. A new wrinkle... and not in your very nice sweater I should say.
Thanks for this part 3: loads of suspense ;) So, collapse is an auto loss in solo ;) I'm not forgetting that anytime soon! Btw, at 2'27 and 3'24, you exhaust the cauldron... twice in your turn I think ;)
@Dr. D The bot returns unrest so I think it is rare in solo games? It si easy to get ridd off unrest but that is an action and resources to just avod something or a turn unly revolting. It is more like threat unless soem pleayer goes in for it hard I guess.
Yes, I undid the first one (going back to 2 pop and 2 progress, but for some reason lost that in the Edit!); so everything was still good... just bad editing! Good spot ;)
@Dr. D Collapse only really happens in solo if you just garrison unrest or never return it - or flood the bot with it, once you're down to 1 or 2 unrest in the pile there is a risk the bot acquires two cards and bang ... collapse. This is deliberate, without the auto loss it was too easy to keep giving the bot unrest and then winning with collapse (as the bot has more than you).

Hi Peter; I'm not following what you are asking.. sorry ; can you ask me again in a different way ?
@@BoxofDelights 20:36 the progress token put on Jade Mask was a value 5 token not a value 1.
@@nigelgraves174 Oh yes, I fixed it at 25:25.
