I just bought a 2003 4Runner last year. I thought about getting an aftermarket bumper for future off road adventures. Then, I saw some recovery videos and realized it would be a waste of money. All of these aftermarket bumpers bolt up to the original crash bumper mounting area on the frame with eight bolts if I recall. One or two of the recovery companies won't even use a front end boom lift on Toyotas because of this setup.
I actually did the 06+ front end conversion on my 4Runner, so it has OEM 2006+ Toyota headlights. But you're right, its not the original 05 set. I have a video on my channel documenting it more if you're interested.
When I was shopping for a new metal bumper I wasn't a huge fan of the open, super aggressive style like the coastal, but today I'd probably go that direction with my build. Still happy with mine but I think less is more when you go for a tough off road look.
I love how it says 4 Runner on the bumper! Nice custom touch!
Thanks, I feel it was well worth the effort!
Wow this really helped with my 4runner!
🤣🤣🤣
Great video and the bumper looks amazing!!
Thank you, love having a quality product made & built in the USA!
Man, welder did a great job. Love the idea of the 4 Runner logo.
Finding right people is key, still looks good going into its second winter!
Awesome outcome 👨🏭

Am definitely doing this on my 04
does the headlight conversion you did prior move the side marker/turn signals into the headlight itself? otherwise you wouldn't have them now...
Yup, blinkers in the headlights now. My other video shows how to wire those up too.
I thought the 2005's also had the turn signal light on the bumper. Do you just not have front turn signal indicators anymore with the new Move bumper?
NVM, I see you changed out the headlights. Those don't appear to be the stock lights.

That look really nice
Thanks!
What size of metal is it made out of a 316or bigger
Move bumper is made out of 3/16
nice modification man...
Thanks, I love it!
Welding cost? Thx.
$300 to weld, and extra 90 to cut out the old logo and put in the 4Runner one.
@@My.Lame.Perspectivethat's crazy
Should’ve gotten a coastal offroad bumper kit, that bumper looks way too big and awkward

Crimson chin bumper 😏
😂
wow you picked that up like nothing, how heavy do you think that bumper weighs?
I think its about 100lbs or so? Not too bad at all
Why does the video title say no welding required?
Because I can't weld so I had someone else do it for me.
@@My.Lame.Perspective ok. But welding is still required. So your title is misleading.
@@cfh4201969 Fair point, I'll see if I can think of something more accurate.
