If you have great Teacher like this one,you don't have to worry not passing and later as nurse caring for your patient!!

WHERE is Capital Community College Located! This teacher is so kind! Not at all like the instructors I've come into contact with and learned to loathe with a vengeance! this teacher is: "Here's what your going to need to do & HERES the reason WHY!" Not just say ok we're doing a Care plan pass out a bunch of papers & walk away! that's not teaching to me!

As a Student of an RN program (SRN); semester 3 of 4, the care plans (NCP) I create are for actual patients, in clinical setting. We conducted a physical exam; chart/ hx/ Rx review; as well as medical/ Dr. dx & reason @ facility. Our current eval, NURSING dx- NOT Dr. dx- is the 'data' used to create our pts NCP. Processed w/in each clinical 'hrs', resulting in brief, post-confer w/ fellow SRN & instructor. In-depth NCP, w/ tx, meds, + & - 'results' ect.=TERM PAPER - depends on school/ assign

Hello Rita. I contacted the Professor Lori Cerone, her response is below...
"At the time we were using Maslow and the nursing process. We had our own philosophy for the program that combined both along with stress."

can I acquire a copy of the case study that you are teaching from?

    Hello Rita,
The case study is reviewed in the introductory video of this 5-part series:
"Constructing a Nursing Care Plan, Introduction: Case Study"
    Is this sufficient?

OK~ So, I've picked up the 10 categories from observing the video after watching the "Constructing a Nursing Care Plan, Introduction: Case Study" and I'm relatively knowledgeable of the various "Theories" of Need's but what is this list that the instructor ,Mrs Lori, using to "label"? is it Maslow's or Peplau or Dorthea Orm's? WHO"S therory is Mrs Lori using please. Thank You in advance.
