    Fantastic. I came across Artisan Pro X quite by chance and I intend to buy the plug in. With the help of these tutorials I have now become aware of the depth in terms of functionality of this plug in. Joel is a really good teacher and explains things in very easy, understandable ways. Thank you so much Joel.

    I just discovered Joel T. Bought the books and videos and feel like I discovered a treasure chest of infinite worth. Now watching this video and wonder how it is possible that less than 100 have liked this. I am not an architecture photographer--street and landscape are my beat. But always looking for ways to produce depth and artistic impact and I am already seeing how powerful these teachings and the panel are in my work.

      Thank you Phillip, happy to hear that. I think the reason there's less than 100 likes is because it's quite a long watch:) People have no patience anymore, and prefer quick filters and fast videos. Nothing wrong with that, but to truly create something unique that stands the test of time, you have to invest time:) Thanks again.

    I'd love to see a tutorial of how this panel can be applied to black and white portraits. I'd love to learn how to sculpt the human form with light and shadow, with the Artisan panel's assistance.

    Joel,
    I bought the Artisan Pro X panel and I am starting to use it thanks to this tutorial. Thanks for doing this, it has been very helpful. I have two questions. First, do you do any initial adjustments to the color image before proceeding to neutral B&W or do you go SOOC? For example, exposure and contrast enhancement, color correction, spot removal, etc. Second, with regards to your upcoming advanced masking course, is it based on your masking software panel, or do you only need to be proficient in the masking methods available in PS? I look forward to your response

    • @JoelTjintjelaar

      Lew, what I do to the color adjustments before proceeding to B&W is something I explained in the 2nd Webinar (if I remember correctly) but I only do spot removal (if any), a crop and chromatic aberration removal. Contrast enhancement is something I never do when preparing the image, because that's something you can do much better in B&W. The upcoming advanced masking course is not based on my software masking panel, what it is, is described here: www.bwvision.com/advanced-masking-class/ but both classes are already sold out.

    Can I use this software for color images?

    • @JoelTjintjelaar
      @JoelTjintjelaar  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, of course. If you look at the other recorded webinars, you will see that.

      You don't understand the point of what exactly? The video? The panel? The explanation? The things I do? If you comment or want to ask something, please be more specific.

      @@tgd2650 Actually, this script is genius! The same applies to the man behind it.
      The point is doing an artsy BW - of course this is not for everyone, but if you need it, the script has unlimited possibilities.
