Very good video, maybe a recommendation, add the count every 3-4 hands could possibly help us to keep the track, i get lost a few times bc it’s very fast…. Thanks u bro
Are you saying the house has a advantage at a true positive one or negative one? Negative right? Most of the time with standard six deck h17 das we have the advantage
Can you make a video about how important it is to get the count right on insurance like if it’s close to a true three and I take insurance but it’s actually a 2 1/2 how bad is that for my ev?
i played at a casino where one side bet was combinations of 20's got you something and the other was to spin a wheel for cash if you got blackjack, the two things counting cards tell you is what's coming. probably why i was backed off after one session
Interesting.. was the cash thing a promotional thing? Or did the game have crappy rules besides that. Also, I think Kings Bounty and Lucky Ladies is that side bet or a similar. They are some of the only ones that correlate with the count.
@@A1-BJ the cash one was the red light thing where you spin an electronic wheel. usually those lights are for triple 7's or dealer has a 16 but when i saw it was for just getting blackjacks well naturally... good rules, good pen, good surveillance too
Obviously low count is bad, but cant you help mitigate it a little by deviating strategy, not doubling in risky positions (like 11 vs T) and hitting more aggressively knowing bust chance is lower?
Every chart tells you to double 11 vs 10. U gotta play disciplined to count. U can't take your feelings or intuitions into it. U have to follow as it says. It's millions of hands simulated and the charts are your best odds
Id bet against the book with a negative count. I find it personally i win alittle more with weird hands that shouldnt normally win and the dealer busts alittle more
I suppose it depends on your definition. A professional, in my definition, is someone who makes money at their craft. I do, indeed, make money at this. I don't reveal how much on TH-cam, though, for safety reasons.
imho, this video doesn't prove anything. somewhat new, but I've been absolutely wrecked on most high count shoes, and a lot of negative count shoes I've actually won a decent amount of money. The point being, you're not guaranteed to win on high count shoes, or lose on negative count shoes. Just depends which side of variance you are standing.
I agree, you'd need to do it hundreds if not thousands of times... would make for a boring, long video. So by all means you can try it on your own that many times!
This was an exercise I was going to do before I was convinced of counting being profitable
Great video A1!
Thanks!!
Dude thank you for all the helpful content 💯
You bet ♠️
@@A1-BJno pun intended 😅
You could've made a lot more using the insurance bet. Make a next video doing the same thing but this time you would use deviations.
I agree bc in those situations u wouldnt just stick to basic strategy and counters know those deviations are where u make your money for the most part
It is funny watching some ppl at tables just stare at u like wtf are u doing when u deviate lol
When counting Spanish 21 do you start at a -10?
Im new to card counting but have good success with high negative counts. I just deviate from basic strategies
Don't expect that success to continue, you are at a severe disadvantage in negative counts.

Keep practicing. It will become second nature. I have my own table and I play with my wife and as I deal I can't help but just keep track.

The house has the edge until a true +1 (give or take a bit based on that specific game's rules). After that, we gain the advantage.
+1200, not sure if you noticed but you forgot to add the 50s and carry the 1
Good catch

It's probably not as bad as you think... but yes, it is obviously better to be precise over time.
@@A1-BJ yeah it’d be a good video.
always taking insurance well past true three. borderline I'd say don't take.
How do yoi not play low coint? Move to another table?
Yes! Or get up and "use the restroom"
Its your money and your the one playing u can get up and leave at any time. I may also recommend looking up wonging in and out. Obvious but works

@alexmacdonald9182 crazy! Yeah, sometimes casinos forget how to do math too lol.. never know what you'll find! Take advantage before it goes away!
👍

There are deviations for negative counts, yes. But not playing during negative counts is even better.

If you don't play negative hands at all, it will be even better!
Youre better off simulating this in Python or R over millions of shoes and showing the results in a dashboard
I'm not that savvy, but go ahead, you'll get the same result.
Are you a professional gambler?

@@A1-BJ if you know how to beat the casinos then you are a pro gambler 👍
@user-zu2ge9vs6y cool 😎 I hope you know too?! If not check out my channel ot teaches card counting ♠️

@A1-BJ I have my own table and I have. Every counter knows u win in the long run. U can't stop the variance u just have to play through it
