Vinh Icicles At the beginning, she had some troubles to uncleat and almost fell down. It was a bit surprising because she could rotate her feet but did have the strength to get her feet out of the magnetic field. From this point of view, traditional systems like look are better. I screwed the adjustment screw to the maximum and it was easier to release her feet from the magnetic pad. Now it’s fine.
@@brunoj6146 would you say they won't release easily if a rider pulls up a lot during sprints? I wasn't able to tell from the video, on one occasion he seems to release just by pulling up but I'm not sure.
@@alfrecletero I couldn’t say for sprints as my wife is not really a sprinter kind of cyclist 😂. There is a screw which allows to slightly move the magnet up or down. I have to tighten it to the maximum position in order to reduce the strength to uncleat. By the way, this screw tends to unscrew on its own and I have to regularly screw it again. Before the adjustment she was unable to uncleat and almost fell off. Of course a strong sprinter could probably uncleat. Personally, I prefer standard cleats (SPD on my MTB and look on my road bike).
These are really good if you live in flat areas. However if you are going to climb a lot these are not that safe as I found out they do slip out, so pro cyclists of course can't use these. However for normal weekend cyclists who ride their road bike to work and want an easy clipless and low speed safe system this is the best out there right now.
Давид , привет! Быстрый вопрос ! Garmin 1030 или 830? Заранее благодарен! Езжу постоянно по одному и тому же маршруту , навигация как таковая вообще почти не нужна!
Sorry, I returned them back and sticked with my Keywins. Magpeds are great for almost all scenarios, but I have unclipped myself twice on a short Strava sprint segment. I had so much fear for further riding, so it's stuck in my head. But you can teach yourself to ride in Magpeds, just pedal down, not like I am - all over the place, trying to squeeze last watts (I have not much in my legs, so I'm trying to work with a whole body lol)))) MagPeds are imho still the best at clipping in and out and the feeling is great also. Keywins are very light and performance oriented tho.
Im a newbie and i think this is safe and reassuring. Its just that i'm avoiding to fall stupidly with normal cleats.
this is gonna be by far the best trend in cicling imho
Thank you for the video. Just purchased a pair for my wife. It will be her first experience with cleats.
how do you like the pedals?
