I installed another brand on my CabinCruiser i kept on the Chesapeake Bay and it worked very Well that i actually got bothBaltimore Channels and WashingtonD.C Channels at the time i purchased mine the Manager of the Marine Supply Store told me that all the brands for RVs and Boats were built by the same Company and just had different Logos and brands on them i bought the one i did because that gentleman that told me that had the same one on his Live Aboard Boat that was docked in the Marina next to mine it did have some 12 volt Amplifier with a Tuning knob that never really appeared to matter much BTW i found your channel researching electric Waste Valve conversion kit installations that was helpfull
Interesting OTA antenna preview for picking up digital TV..The cable connectors seem really junky but your reception was really nice at the second site there. Brings me back to 2009 when Canada went Digital. The US had converted a few years earlier. To this day I have a big FM batwing antenna in my attic in the Toronto area. Used to be able to pick up 33 stations including B.uffalo and Rochester locals. That was before all this streaming stuff spoilt us rotten😊 your reviews are always quite interesting
Thanks Ray - looking forward to your next Antop review. I noticed that there are two sets of metal strips inside the dome. Not sure if that is good or not, but it looks like some effort went into the design. I'm still using the bat wing - Mine seems to stop working properly when it rains. I've replaced the cable, so it must be something with the antenna itself. - Cheers!
I would like to see a comparison to the old reliable Bat Wing bidirectional antenna that’s has been in use for 25 years or so. When it’s comes to antennas I thought bigger was better.
The Antop picked up more channels in fringe area Mojave than my batwing ever did but about the same near Palm Springs. I'll test in some more locations. I used the batwing for about 6-7 winter seasons in the southwest so have a good idea of what it picked up in different locations.
I think a person could use their bracket, it has 4 screw holes. But height for driving could end up being a concern on taller RVs. I'm also not sure how well its been tested for wind speed while driving.
Its called a HiBoost. Here was my review. www.loveyourrv.com/hiboost-cell-amplifier-installation-travel-4g-2-0-otw-signal-booster-kit/ I don't use it too much but on some occasions its comes in handy to have. I also have a WiFi booster a TOGO branded Winegard Connect 2 www.loveyourrv.com/installing-togo-roadlink-c2-with-30-a-month-unlimited-data/ www.loveyourrv.com/winegard-connect-2-0-installation-and-review-wifi-extender-4g-lte/ but don't find I use it much now that I have Starlink Internet Dish
Yes, its very worked well in WA, OR and CA so far. We don't have the RV billing. I have a residential plan with the portability add-on. I have the original version one round dish.
Can play it, 2 1/2 hours later, so something that YT does to change your upload into something that many browsers and apps can use. Just takes a while. Good info on the antenna, but I'll stay away from broadcast & internet TV. Much less stressful.
I imagine that the uploaded video gets processed and then dispersed to TH-cam servers all over the world, so most people may have it whereas some might not. Also often ISPs use there own cache servers to help speed up content by keeping it local but may not update fast enough when new stuff is put up. Just a few guesses. Cheers, Ray
Not much as far as I can tell other than it's built specifically for RVs so looks better and has a lower profile. It has a signal meter to show you where to point it. The Antop is omnidirectional.

Nice review. I'd like to see the company make a rooftop bracket that the Antop antenna would mount to.
I think a person could use their bracket, it has 4 screw holes. But height for driving could end up being a concern on taller RVs. I'm also not sure how well its been tested for wind speed while driving.
You the man Ray.
I did notice that the antop is also in a higher location which also benefits reception.
Yes, big advantage for a pole mount type versus the typical RV roof mount types like the King Jack
Looks like a spaceship
I saw World Cup , what other channel do you need!
So the antop antenna works better than the king jack
So far it has tested better in a weak signal area
@@LoveYourRV agree
Hi Ray, what cell booster are you using? Do or did you use a wifi booster to get better wifi at camp sites, Walmart etc? If so which one? Thanks

Is your Starlink working well down there? Do you have the RV billing?

Your Browser can not play this video - possibly your end or mine ....
My TH-cam stats show its getting plenty of plays over 600 so far.
Can play it, 2 1/2 hours later, so something that YT does to change your upload into something that many browsers and apps can use. Just takes a while.

Wow, ok so this thing got 18 channels n the king only 4. That’s a huge diff. So now what can the king do that this one can’t? 🍻

I saw World Cup , the only channel you need!
I wouldn't buy seems to be junk but thank you for the review
