Bali to me is like more of a tourist attraction destination now and u have to pay for everything and experience the same thing as everyone else. The areas in Bali that are underrated are the areas they don’t talk about much.

I met my partner while living in Bali in 2018, we went back for a month or two the next year in 2019 and then of course couldn’t return during covid. We finally made it back last year and was there for a little over 3 months - spending most of our time in Bingin/Uluwatu and about a month or so in Canggu. I had heard from friends living in Bali during Covid that it had changed a lot but honestly I was shocked at how much it had changed. I found it sad in someways. I think Bali is definitely still worth visiting especially if you’ve never been before because it does just seem to have this magical feel about it ✨
