Ubud, it’s closer to the nature, waterfalls and a bit further from tourist areas, although Ubud central is packed. If you want to get some good time at the beach, check out Amed (for quiet times) or Uluwatu/Nusa dua.
I am in Bali at the moment and i think it sucks, i visited Denpasar, Sanur, Kuta, Jimbalan and it is way overcrowded and not beautiful at all like tons of people are saying, i am looking for anotjer place to stay hoping for a better view and stay, will try to go to seminyak tomorrow
@@andreaszemp9501 visited more to the east side and it is better but I still think there are thousands of other destinations that are more worthy, traffic is horrendous as well as it is overcrowded
I came home last Saturday I’ve never been so disappointed with anywhere so much as Bali. I thought seminyak was dreadful Nothing like I expected. Definitely not my idea of paradise.I would never consider Bali ever again but beautiful friendly people
Hey your pros/cons series are amazing!! All in one under 10min. Would you do one for canggu too? Also I have to ask how is there in October about Rain and crowdyness?
Hey! Thanks for the feedback 🙏 we plan to do one for canggu, but later, we need to do a visa run to Kuala Lampur for next couple weeks, but when we back, we’ll post one. We have not yet been here in October, but we have a friend who was and she saying that it’s not that bad, occasional rains at night. We came in the middle of rain season, in February and rain was not bothering us at all, maximum it was just a few hours during the day and at night, but dry out quickly. October is lower touristic season than summer, so crowds should be smaller, but there still be some in popular places.
Hi! Thank you 🙏 We got asked to wear masks only inside big malls, like Beachwalk in Kuta. People outside usually don’t wear masks, we’ve seen only a few, and I believe it’s more because of personal choice and not enforcement. Canggu is currently as busy as Seminyak, a lot of nomads and tourists stay there, traffic sometimes even worse. We are not going there often, a little too far from Nusa Dua. But we do like vibe there and variety of cafes/bars/clubs. 😊 hope that helps
Just come back from seminyak hated it. Litter everywhere and the locals let the dogs poop on the beach didn’t pick up. Will never go to Bali again . The people are lovely. But Traffic is a nightmare 😮.

Where should I live in Seminyak if I want the busy area
Good options would be hotels/villas around JL. Kayu Aya, Jl. Petitenget or if you like the beach, somewhere around double six beach
