  • We met up with Chef Avinash Martins, in serene , peaceful and quiet South Goa. He owns and runs his Restaurant Cavatina, the name inspired by a jazz piece that took his breath away during his time in Spain. His motto is local heart , global soul. The day started at a local farm where he sources his ingredients from and then went on to his ancestral property in the hills of South Goa and it is aptly names Table in the Hills. We experienced his rustic Goan cuisine and paired some wines and had a lovely conversation after recording him cook. He even makes his own Cashew Feni which we tasted with Gusto! Feni is a local spirit that has a Geographical Indication.
    We suffered at the hands of a terrible cameraman but luckily Editor extraordinaire @veersupunya was able to save this episode with his amazing skillzzzz
