Sails have soo much effect on stering. Next time loosen the main sail an pull on your jib more. So your boats nose will not get into the wind. And when you do get your nose in the wind. Looen the Job and pull it on the right side of the boat.

Exactly. Launching the 16 can be quite easy. Main sail loose. Jib tight. Front man just sit forward and off you go even without rudders down 👍🏼
